Hi there. No its not possible. You press those slices in or lift them up and they stay there. If you turn the dial clockwise does it still switch on at the selected time. If not the little arm inside might have moved or broken. If it still works as normal the only way it can be reset is if someone physically pushes those slices. It can lose time as it does not come with a back up battery with power outages but you just keep it plugged in and turn it to the correct time again when power gets restored that's all.
I have five and all are broken ,because the gears strip when you adjust the time
