Thanks Barend. This programming is frustratingly counter-intuitive and inadequately explained in the user pamphlet. Thanks for resolving!

Hi, I have followed the options as per the video tutorial. The time and date is set correctly. I have programmed the "on" and "off" option. Took it back to "auto" it does not come on at the desired time set. When i change it from "auto" to "on" then the time comes on and you can hear the audible ticking away inside. Please help

Bit late but did you select the days of the week for both on and off settings?

Bought one from Makro just now. Lcd panel not displaying anything. Does it need to charge the full 12 hours first before anything will display on lcd? Been plugged into power for 30min now and still nothing.

I bought this thing. I followed the instructions. It worked for about 5 days. It is now not working as programmed. I have reset it and reprogrammed it about 10 times. I have followed every instruction yet it is not turning my light on when it is programmed to be on. If I toggle it to "on" it works so power is getting through it. I am so very frustrated right now. I have found several people saying they have the same problem but no solution. The answer is always "reset and reprogram". I don't know what else to do

Hi if the manual override works and the timer comes on when you use the manual button it means the timer is working. The problem is definitely programming. If the timer did not engage on the manual button selection when you press it to the on position then either the wiring came lose or the timer has not been bridged on the old model and lastly if all else failed the timer is faulty. The new model has two inputs at the top and only one output at the bottom no bridging required.

Ok lets go wiring top left and right is a life red and neutral black. Bottom middle is a red going to your geyser or poolpump. If this is correct pressing the manual button till you see the red light come on whatever has been connected must come on. If your geyser or poolpump does not switch on when the red light is lit your timer may be faulty. If however the geyser etc. Engages we know the timer is working then its progrmming. Check that 1 on mo, tu, we, thu, fr, sa, su is all selected time am and pm is correct press again 1 off mo, tu, we, thu, fr, sa, su is all selected again. If all these are correctly set and the timer did switch on as in first step you should be done. Press menu and leave the timer in auto mode.
