Then when it begins to dry it becomes super nappy and SHRINKS!
When I say shrinks I mean it looks like I'm a dude with a small afro!
And my curls get super tight so I have to blow dry it after washing it!

Use hair clips or bobby pins on the ends to weigh your hair down while it dries
What I do is I roseate my bottoms sections of my hair(the ends) and I put the rest of my hair up and the bottom sections I separate in half and for one half I separate it into twos and twist them and then twist them around eachother and tie the ends and I do the same for the other side. And then the top section of my hair I tied up I either blow dry it normally on the heat setting so it's more loose or let it air dry. For the bottom sections with the twist I let it dry until it's 90 percent dry and just take through it and I still have my length

Wow. Thank you so much, we have the same hair type. Curly and hard to manage. Everyone at my school asks why I wear a ponytail or a bun everyday. And I tell them that it's because I really don't know what else to do with it. I fear wearing my hair down naturally curly at school because it frizzed up during the day. I'm not really comfortable wearing my hair down because I wear it up everyday, and now I have this video to watch for inspiration while I get ready in the mornings when school starts again in AUGUST. I have the same problem, but I figured out that it was that wat because my front is waaaaay shorter than the back of my hair(the top of my hair too, so it's also poofy and weird there) maybe thats the problem? :') because the front has(maybe) less hair to weigh it down, and the back as enough hair to weigh it down and not make it look poofy

lol im white and pale af but im middle eastern so i have really thick hair and curly (kinda like hers not that tight) but omg ppl say its cultural appropriation bc i do hair styles with wraps and wtf am i supposed to do, its very curly and frizzy -_- its been so hard to accept my curls and others are not making it easier #naturalhairrocks

I bleached and dyed my hair and for the whole summer I had damaged ends and about 2 weeks ago my mom cut a lot of it off now my hair is awesome.
