    Ans of Range = 2qB(u^3)/m(g^2).
    .
    If anybody wants to match ans for, if the ball is thrown at Theta(O) angle and rest same question, then ans -
    Total time of flight (let T) = 2mu.sinO/(mg + quBcosO)
    .
    And Range = 2uT[cosO + qBT.sinO/m]
    .
    Range ka answer me total time of flight wala T hum use kr rhe jo upar likha h.

    2:23 I got [(u^2sin2θ)/g][(1 ± (quBsinθ/mg))] + for +ĵ and - for -ĵ I'm In 11th So, I don't know much about magnetic field I just use F = qv X B in x axis check whether It's correct or not, if wrong then what is correct concept for this question

      Don't you think it depends on at what height we are stopping the paper... for example, if the paper is thrown from origin, and the ground is x - axis then you are right.
      but if you either shift the ground up at x = 3, the answer is different
      or if you start somewhere on the negative y axis
      But if the question is to find range of projectile when it is maximum your answer is correct.

    Sir please tell is answer correct or wrong ,
    we cannot apply simple kinematics formula
    We have to use differential form.

      And d²x/dt²=qB(u-gt) /m
      Solve this using proper Intregation limit. You get v in x direction =u+qB{ut-gt²/2}/m =dx/dt
      Once again intregate to get x
      You know that time of flight is 2u/g put and you get range

    Range for the question is R=2qv³B/mg² v is the velocity projected.
    Initially velocity is only in y direction not in x direction .so that velocity exerted a magnetic force in X direction=qvB .

      @@ayamsharma1497 bhai B is z direction and as body moving up initially velocity is in y direction so the force would act in x direction. You can check that by right hand rule point thumb upward and all fingers in direction of magnetic field.Palm gives us direction of force .you might feel it as left but if you see from the position infront of you it is right side .Sir told in the vedio once check that. and consider equations and force it respective directions.

    Range is 0 bcoz while going upwards Magnetic force is leftwards and while coming down magnetic force is rightwards.. so ball falls at its point of projection ...

      Cause while going up it will gain some velocity towards left side of sir and while coming down it will have and opposite acceleration as that of while going up, this acceleration will first decrease it's velocity to zero and then will accelerate it towards right of sir
      So it won't be zero... We can calculate it by analysing upward and downward motion independently

    Range till max height attained will be. QBu^2/3mg^2 and then down ward motion is lil bit complex for me.....help😂

      This is helical motion then treat like as same concept that projecting a charge in magnetic at angle theta , v costheta help in forward and force perpendicular to v sintheta componet help in circular motion. In this force components mg helps in downward motion and force due to magnetic field helps in circular motion. By write both eq in horizontal and vertical we can easily calculate many parameters like pitch of helical motion, time period for revolution, angular momentum etc.

    IN Y DIRECTION-
    initial velocity : x(let)
    acceleration: -g
    IN Z DIRECTION
    initial velocity : 0
    Force: qvb
    Acceleration: qvb/m
    First we calculate time period by using first equation of motion that comes out to be 2U/G
    Thereafter we can easily calculate whatever is asked let it be the range, maximum height etc

      The truth is : You don't. Its a tough ch that requires concepts of entire mechanics. Don't stick on one chapter.

    As the initial velocity is perpendicular to the magnetic field and has no component in direction of magnetic field, it will follow a circular path and therefore it's range will be 2×radius of path (i.e. 2mv/Bq)

      @@harshthakur7204 nah when 1)they collide they have same height from ground + distance travel in horiontal dirn is same ,collide at same time 2) using momentum cons we can easily find velocity in x and y as gravity is non impulsive 3) vectorially apply defination of e and find velocity of each mass , then do m1v1 +m2v2 /m1+m2 (again vectorially) or can do only in y dirn because ultimately we have to find max height so only v(in y dirn) is required

    Sir I don't face much problem in concepts and analysing questions but mathematics hinders my physics, when in advance questions differential equations and complex integration is used, I fail to understand approach. One such example is charge projected towards current carrying wire, and we are supposed to find distance if closest approach. I was able to make a some of equations but couldn't find answer by compiling then together. What should I do?
