I didn't want to start all over with a new program for the 4th time 😅 this finally allowed me to get back to my project, along with changing the processing mode to CUDA in the davinci resolve memory and GPU preferences.

Say, the power saving setting is "AMD Radeon R5 Graphics", and the high performance setting is also "AMD Radeon R5 Graphics". Any idea? Please help. Thanks! (Mine is AMD Radeon R5 Graphics.)
I am certain your application works under the desirable conditions. My GPI issue still stands. Could it be my processor? i5-5337u Inter R Core TM 1.80 GHz. If so can I still use a lesser version of Davinci Softwares?
It's Sooo strange that one day ago i installed this app and worked 100% fine and opened too. but then deleted, but again installed then, when clicked to open it showed this error message. don't know why this happened? i think it is because laptop is not charging right now, but did what you show in video, but there's a catch too. when go to option in davinci resolve in High performance option, it shows Intel UHD graphics though I've Nvidia RTX GPU! But btw this method worked 100%,. thanks brother👍👍
yeah hahahah your GPU is bad says the program ...while dozend of other DVE i tested and another free one i have, shotcut, does run without issues. if you deinstall and reinstall the GPU error is back even you did not have that first now how is that possible ????? adressing or memorizing somehow the GPU it was run with so a reisnalation will not work since the GPU you are using is the same. Sorry but thats what i think : they somehow have a detecting ptogram which will detect any previously used GPU to run it for free so that when you did use it free and i think there might be a counter inside the programming , after a whiule it gives you errors and renders it simply useless for you to have it on your system. now you deistall and re-install and voala it does no longer work hahah even it did for a time before that now think twice how that can be ! now go for reisnalation of windows - i did it since i anyway needed an ssd with 1tb - now download your cakewlak and download your shotcut and all of them ...hahaha go for davinci and here you are : it comes GPU error !! because the GPU does not change and has the same driver even if you do an update! it is the very code which is used to comunicate with DR which DR has i presume a program to detect and thereby throw out as " GPU Error " to render resolve for ya useless !!! its all a selling strategy : ooo your free program does not work ? o we are soooo sorry ( not at all ) but hey : come and by it and maybe some mixing tables we have ... or maybe they got a deal with the big companies which make GPU to simply drag you into bying a highend GPU but even than you will use the free version for a time and than you will have GPU Error turn it as you wish : i am prety sure they have programed it to stop work after a preprogrammed period of time or did you ever hear of this issue among those who payed for it ????

This issue is automatically created by davinci to occur after sometime you've been using the program.They simply narrow you to two options, either you spend a fortune upgrading your computer hardware (more memory, graphics card etc or just spend 300$ and get their license. You decide. And of course second option is Further better, what free version pushes to do. And yes, I think GPU company surely has a deal with Blackmagic where both win, free version needs more GPU and paid ones use minimal requirements becuase GPU creators adjust it for purchasing version.

I have downloaded the Intel graphics update which temporarily fixes the problem. But after rebooting, the same error comes up again (& I'm prompted to reinstall the Intel update). Any insight?
i'm soo confused and depressed cause this method is not working for me and whenever i use davinci resolve it completely glitches out into white and black dots (have spent 6 hours trying to fix it even reinstalled davinci and used that intel tool to update my intel graphics driver )
how do i solve it ? Intel hardware accelerated decode and encode have been disabled as the current Intel graphics driver is not compatible with DaVinci Resolve. Please update your drivers to enable this feature.
i'm not sure if anyone's going to answer but i did this and it still didn't work therefore i changed it to power saving and it said it was unable to initialize GPU if i put it on high performance my davinci resolve doesn't open at all. i hope someone'll be able to help me with this issue.

Nor for me. I had no error messages, but Resolve doesn't show Nvidia on any menu. Nvidia detects resolve but it just isn't working.
