Brought a few tears to my eyes
Ed Bruce, rest in the pasture of making great music and touching our heartstrings January 8, 2021
No, he just went to Texas, cause they don't let the cowboys in the heaven
Charley Pride, Ed Bruce, guess they’re all going.

Yess,the sir is legend :)
I first heard this song in GTA San Andreas back in 2004 when I was 17, and it's been one of my favourites ever since. Ed Bruce had a great voice, and was a talented musician and songwriter.
May he R.I.P.
Waylon did a great cover of this song of course.
@@ethanweeter2732
No, that was Willie Nelson. and it wasn't as good as Ed. It's always ticked me off that Nelson got all the attention for this song and not Ed!
K rose
I first heard this sone same with you in GTA game when I was teenager in China. In this game, I drove my car in north american beautiful country, radio playing the song. I dream someday I may go there and live there. So Today, I did, this is my choice and my life
@@Tracy3006Both Waylon & Willie covered it together.
This reminds me of the days when I was a skinny black dude riding a quad across the desert
You got me there bro. Hahaha
Great days not gonna lie
Those good old days
Los santos deserts?
A simple time indeed, back when you could steal a jetpack from the government and fly around the desert.
That voice.
Dang didn’t expect to see you here
@@spy6271 When a UA-camr uses his main for his general browsing i guess lol. Mad though when you consider the rarity of this particular tune to find one of your Rust UA-camrs in the comments! hahaha
After all those years. His voice is legendary. 🙂

This song has never been sung better. Thank you God for Ed Bruce.
RIP Ed Bruce!!! This is such a wonderful song!!
Age did nothing his lovely voice! RIP Cowboy.
Great
Este uma lenda da música .
I agree, his voice is so masculine too. I love this song!
I’m Brazilian, and I heard this song about 14 years ago playing GTA on K Rose Radio Station... since then, I’ve created this will of learning about American country songs(which is a lot different than our Brazilian country songs)... and Ed Bruce, what a voice! This is a song that I’ve been listening for the past 14 years, in sickness and in health, in richness or poorness, and I’ll be listening to it until death parts us..
Ok
Fino meu caro senhor🗿🍷🤠🐎

Boa!
I’ve created this will of learning about Brazilian bathing suits. Does that count as cultural sharing?
Who is looking the Song in 2020?
love it
Me!! Love the song and needed to find out who wrote it. I believe the writer always sings a song better than anyone else and Ed puts so much feeling into it.
@@rebeccaelliott232 oh yes!

One Man, one guitar, one song. This is true Country Music. The present crop of 'Country stars' would do well to take a few notes here. No rap crap. No rock guitar. No bawling and shouting down the mic. Just great music. Thanks Ed.
The Ranch 😍😍😍😍 i'm from Brazil, and i love this music ❤
larga o GTA e vai estudar! rsrs
The Ranch a série e não GTA kkkkk
Aaaaaaa brasileiro, é nois
Willie Nelsons son sings the version for The Ranch opening
Nobody cares that your from Brazil and you love this music
R.I.P. Ed Bruce , Love your music and never forget you!!
thank you K-ROSE thank you GTA :)
yeah GTA SAN ANDREAS IS THE BEST
thank you Ed Bruce
The best version and recording of this song is still done by the man who wrote it, ED BRUCE! A great, underrated country artist that received less acclaim than he deserved. This is a great rendition of the song. Just Ed and his guitar. What a great voice. I love it! And hey, a country artist that can actually play the guitar....really well !! Thanks for posting this video!
They come no better than Ed
How the he👺👺 did never hear of him til just now??? That voice is utter golden honey!! I am often teased because I know every country singer before 1980.. but how did I miss him? I'm off to see if I can find his work
@@mrs.schmenkman He taught Steve Cropper to play guitar in high school, known him since 76, a great man
Ed is fantastic, but Waylon is my hero
He told me Himself
Lord, it's been years since first I heard his version. Yet, still brings tears in my eyes, every time. God bless him in Heaven.
All Gta San Andreas players report here.
this song carries the true american soul in its purest state... it can't get any more american than this!! R.I.P William Edwin Bruce Jr. one of the best country singers in the world and R.I.P to all legendary american cowboys!!

This has got to be in the TOP 10 SONGS ever written & recorded & sung!!!
I'm a PROUD AMERICAN OWNER/OPERATOR TRUCK DRIVER...so this song has a little more special meaning to me...especially when he sings "don't let them drive them old trucks".
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
DESCANSE EM PAZ ED BRUCE, UM DOS MAIORES CANTORES COUNTRY DO MUNDO!
ustedes tambien descansen
Another great singer and songwriter who never got the recognition they deserved, much like my uncle Mack Vickery.
And the best thing about this video, is that, it doesn’t look like he’s singing a song. It looks like he’s talking to you. He’s giving you some seriously good advices.
May he forever RIP. Heaven gained another Legend today.
Hope you doing good and staying safe...!
Rest In Peace legend.
What the he👺😬??? I grew up on country and I can name every single country singer before 1980. How the hell can I not now this one? That VOICE!!!! I'm in love

Ed Bruce, probably one of the most underrated singers. He have so many great songs.
Why am I keeping repeating this 🎵🎶🎵 song, coz my ears 👂loves what we are hearing. Beautiful voice 😍
For the life of me I'll never understand why Ed Bruce wasn't inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. While I expect it will happen eventually it's a shame it didn't happen while he was living.

E muito bom ver alguém cantar e ouvir...respeito.
Many of these legends are gone now. Along with my youth and along with my best memories and along with the best times of my life.

Yup...as a huge Waylon and Willie fan, I still like Ed Bruce version better...His voice is just too perfect for this song.
"K-ROSE!! Because if you spend more time with farm animals than your wife... you have a lonely heart.. and a nasty infection"
GRAND THEFT AUTO SAN ANDREAS!!!! K-Rose!!!
One step forward and two steps back
I'm started to listening country, beacause of you Ed. What a great piece of music. K-Rose 🤩
I first heard Waylon & Willie’s version, and am just discovering this, the original version, today (unknowingly).
Gotta say, this song is my favorite country song of all time (can’t stand modern country music), and I think Waylon had the best male voice of all time, but this version is by far the best.
Amazing song, amazing voice! 0:21 :D
Yup,i love when he sing"cowboy"
Merle haggard was doing the same thing
What a voice! What a great song! So glad this showed up on my feed
Hey from Fort lupton. Colorado. We are the best👍💯
I live far away from the US, really far, but Ed has the ability to take me there in 3 seconds.
The best version of this song in my opinion.
When I saw the movie with Steven Segal "Fire Down Below" I HATED that sheriff who was crooked and I have hated him ever since. Woah and behold - it was Ed Bruce. Now I learn that and I have loved his music for years and years. Small world.
Awe damn, you're right. I recognized Randy Travis as the fake agent. The band at the festival, where Seagal joins on guitar was Marty Robbins? I think. Kris kristofferson was the corrupt boss. My fav Seagal movie.
Fantastic! I love Country Songs.
RIP Big man! A great musician, actor, and friend to other legends! I think he'd just about seen it all.
The days when people could still sing rip ouldtimer!!
I always thought my English ain't good enough to understand old songs. I see that it's good enough, but somehow everytime I discover a song that I fall in love with I find the info that its performer died a year ago or two. Rest in peace, Ed. 😢
Just love this song and that voice ...just great!
Used to love coming home from school , turning the ps2 on driving around san andreas country side listening to K Rose , those were the days
