What does the lime do for the garden
My friend. Why have you considered getting a spreader to spread your lime. Scott's Edge spreader would make you life so much easier and then all you'd need is a mask to cover you mouth and nose. You could dump those bags directly into the spreader instead of carrying that bucket around.
SMH my grandfather did it like that for 50 years and out lived so many people. This lazy way of get a tool for something so simple makes people physically weak. That bucket really isn't heavy. Real farmers use this stuff as a workout.
@@DevaJones03 LOL. And I bet your grandfather used to draw water from a well too. Just because something was done a certain way years ago, doesn't mean it was the most efficient way. Our grandfathers did things a certain way because they had no other means of getting the jobs done. Yes it's simple but he would have gotten a more even spread of the lime with a spreader. He could have taken a shovel and turned over all that dirt too. That would have made him physically stronger too, but I bet you nor your grandad wouldn't do that. LOL!
