This doesn't go over how to survive in midlane if he's camping you. Before level 6 as Anivia I can't go past half way even if I ward the pixel brush because if he comes out the other side he can get behind me and kill me. I was at a lvl disadvantage against the enemy Annie because if he is camping you you can't let him get behind you as anivia or you are guaranteed dead considering how easily annie and shaco can stunlock you (and of course she hit 6 first when I can't get exp when she freezes in front of tower, because then shaco will come out the unwarded side and gank me). It's not uncommon for shaco's to see your control ward, know it's there, but then keep it there and go out the other side.
It feels like there is no counterplay if you aren't malzahar, morgana or any kind of tank mid. I know every champ has hard matchups, but the only counterplay is to get your jungler to take shaco's camps while he camps you. Yeah, good luck doing that in solo Q. So the only way you can """"win"""" is to not leave half way and let the enemy laner do whatever they want, which will basically create the same level and gold disparity that occurs when you get killed anyway, except shaco doesn't get fed.
Thats when you freeze and wait for a slow push and stay inside your caster minions (which should be piled up)

I used kayn vs shaco and it seemed pretty OP. If you go darkin you have nice cc and if you dmg him and then he does his r you can tell which one is the real one.
Just another character with a little known mechanic that's good got countering shaco is Tryndamere. His W will light up if he is alone and cannot see shaco. It is a good indication of whether to back off or not

I’m brand new at this game. I’ve been playing pretty decent since I played mlbb shortly before downloading this, I’m now level 13, some characters are tough and I can have a hard time handling them, but I can escape, this damn juggalo is so cheap he literally appears and 1 shots. This video was very helpful, I normally play Aurelion Sol.
Same here too but the best way to counter him is to use sweeper instead of a ward so that if you thimk he will attack you. Use the sweeper so that you can see him come to you

@@Irithyllian shaco, irelia, fiora, zed, yone, sett… they never got easier for me to deal with I just avoid them. Hence why I’m here.
@@riss803 Zed is pretty hard, all of this from vex main, sometimes I can completely cancel his ult with fear, but he can use his ult to counter my ult. Yone is totally absurd, but with vex I can AA him and get glooms, aside from using vex yone is a pain, and yet even with them irelia is still my biggest issue

a capable Nida will have one of the best clear times, ganks and map pressure of any jungler. Go watch some, such as Tarzaned when he plays her, or that one jg NA guy who is pretty famous.. I can not remember his name for the life of me, but i think it has a M?

I'm still concerned on saying that Nidalee counters Shaco. She can outpace him early, that's for sure. But I don't see Nidalee killing Shaco at any stage unless he's caught off guard as he can avoid Nidalee's spear with three different spells on top of the sidestep. That way, Nidalee not only will have a hard time using her passive, but she also won't hit him with one of her main damaging spells.
Also, let's not forget that if Shaco is the one catching her, which may be unlikely, but not at all unrealistic, he do have kill potential on her since despite having low damage, Nidalee is still very squishy.
I agree with Graves and Olaf, though. They're tough.
How to counter a counter jungled?
How come they didn't mention that you should get an oracle lense against him? 🤔
What about support shaco? I've been seeing shaco as support in my ranked games and it's really hard when you can't get anywhere near the wave....even if youre under your own tower, or go into any jungle enterances to ward.
Get a early swepper with a ranged suport.

I'd say mid game, or if he gets a lead early he can be extremely strong.

Yeah actually a pretty good player named Extreme Person found a new way to play ap shaco in the jungle.You go dark harvest,sudden impact,eyeball colection,relentless hunter then sorcery into water walking and the move speed thing I forgot the name,then you play like ad shaco it isn't that different in the early game.You just play as usuall,but build different : Ap Blue Jungle item,Protobelt,Lichbane-these are your core items then you build what ever you want,And for boots buy cdr ones most of the time.

Pretty much in good hands. He's tanky without items, builds lifesteal and dmg reduction(with Death Dance and Phantom Dancer), denies vision(has aoe blind with slow), kites like crazy with his [E] and can 100to0 people in milliseconds, especially with Dark Harvest+Draktarr+Storm Edge combo -> 1 auto=1 kill, repeat.

Shaco doesn't worth a ban in my opinion primary coz there's not so much good Shaco players to begin with and as it been said in the video you can put him behind early and shut him down in teamfight simply by grouping hard and stay vigilant same with ganks actually if you ward properly then you can turn the tables on him by denying surprise factor and catch him instead then he tries to flank you.
I go cinderhulk and hydra so i get 3k hp and obeshot multiple people
this doesnt even help .. shaco is the single most broken champ in all of lol. can gank 100 invisible ..uncounterable period. the only way to fix it is to revert that old change where control wards could see him.. "bc it was a compleate bs change inthe first place" or just simply remove shaco from lol completely witch would make the game 1,000,000 times better
