That is her actual singing voice. Her speaking voice is a bit different, and she can sing much higher if she chooses, but that is her musical style. she is downright amazing. I would definitely recommend her performances of Wicked Game and the Russian folk song Rechenka. both are absolutely stunning. She has several other amazing performances that you would enjoy as well, but those are great to start with.
@@ElvannReacts When she sings with that tone, I think she's using a specific vocal technique to produce the sound - having watched many reactions to songs where she uses this technique, someone (don't remember who) seemed to know something about it. I think it's something to do with tongue position. She doesn't sound like this always, or even most of the time - this is actually the only performance of her's I've heard where she's using it throughout. Still, her regular chest voice is pretty low. I HIGHLY recommend her performance of "Rechenka" - it's spine chillingly good, a world class performance, and totally different from this. And she was just 14 years old when she performed it. There are some videos out there of her, where she's just singing in what looks like a townhall, and that shows that it is indeed how she sounds. Because I went looking the first time I saw her, because I also thought that she had to have some sort of effect on her voice. But nope. Apart from her amazing voice, I also really like how she handles herself in her performances. Although she's only in her mid teens in these The Voice like recordings, she just feels so at home on the stage, and gives it all in her brief performances.

She has won numerous competitions (this video was her final winning performance of “You Are Super,” which is a Russian child competition similar to “The Voice.” She is only 14 in this video. i've seen many videos of her concerts, and she sounds this amazing in a mall on a phone cam. The stability and subtle sculpting of the long, sustained notes is bonkers! i hope you'll take the time to check out some of her other performances, from this show, "You Are Super!", or anywhere else.

The bald judge is Maestro Igor Krutoy, a very famous composer. Since the competition he is mentoring her and he paid for an apartment for her and her family to make life easier for them. He has also joined Dimash Kudaibergen to compose several new songs just for him. He has already composed 2 new ones and reworked some of his other songs he had already composed before joining Dimash. She has a very unique voice - yep. And only 15 years old in that video. The only singer I've ever heard that comes even close to sounding like Diana is Cher. Cher has been around for 50-+ years and only now I have heard a similar voice in Diana. That should give you an idea of how rare Diana's the singing voice is. And at such a young age, she has so many growth options.

Nightwish is my favorite band and floor is my favorite vocalist Of all time. this young lady is probably one of the most unique and talented young artist I have ever witnessed. Where it is sung in a whisper is like the words of a deceased mother, because in Russia since ancient times it was believed that the river is the border between the world of the living and the dead, as in the mythology of others countries. So the girl-orphan came to the river to tell the mother that she was being given away for the unloved, to a strange family, ask for blessings and cry.

Few days before, while checking the Likee app, I happened to have heard a few lyrics of a song in Russian language and was transported to ecstatic state where something sounded like I had heard in dream I mentioned earlier and recalled that my dream singer was not other than Diana Ankudinova whom I heard on the Likee. A day before, I left on UA-cam my detailed impressions about the young Russian singer who impressed me emotionally with her voice which I described as mother of voices and personified version of my dream singer in the appearance of Diana Ankudinova. I think Diana Ankudivona is the actualization of my dream singer and as such is beyond description in terms of her energy, voice, as well as the rarest phenomenon of performance. I from Pakistan's capital Islamabad and right from here, I like to send the young singer, my best wishes for her career's journey to the highest heights. She's amazingly talented and yes..theres is no manipulation of her vocals at all.. she manages to lower her larynx so that's why she can get that really low and deep tone. Her chest voice starts from somewhere around "d", two tones lower than regular contralto (if not lower already))) Here Diana is 15 years old. But her route to glory started when she participated in the You're Super! TV show one season prior to that. I think I have said this before, but it bears repeating; Diana is a TRUE Contralto and still has an amazing octave range. I honestly believe she could sing almost anything, if not everything; maybe with a little additional training. But then, She may be at university now building on her abilities.

Hello, maybe you have heard of Yma Sumac and her four and a half octave range (by conservative reports). There was no "processing" 70 years ago with Yma and there is none with Diana. There are tons of non-professional non-TV videos on UA-cam of Diana singing on street corners, in parks, at shopping malls. You are correct in that Diana is a contralto, and her voice is not “processed.” She is a child prodigy from Russia and has attended a music academy and has had years of voice lessons. She has won numerous competitions (this video was her final winning performance of “You Are Super,” which is a Russian child competition similar to “The Voice.” She is only 14 in this video. Hi there Elann loved your reaction to Diana Ankudinova I stumbled onto her about 2 weeks ago flipping threw reactions there is a lot out there most sung in Russian or french Human is my favorite she kills a song called "Oh Darling" back when she was 10 years old her back ground is also an amassing story abused and then abandoned when she was 3 or 4 years old sent to a orphanage and then adopted reports state as a young child she had trouble even speaking and turned to singing to help with her speech seems that worked out well for her she is a very special singer...gifted
This was a really fun reaction to watch.I think you will really appreciate some of her other songs from this same show, they almost all equally pull you in different directions. It's simply Amazing that she is.

The bald judge is Maestro Igor Krutoy, a very famous composer. Since the competition he is mentoring her and he paid for an apartment for her and her family to make life easier for them. He has also joined Dimash Kudaibergen to compose several new songs just for him. He has already composed 2 new ones and reworked some of his other songs he had already composed before joining Dimash. The 2 new ones are Ogni Pietra (Olympico) and Passione.

She has a very unique voice - yep. And only 15 years old in that video. The only singer I've ever heard that comes even close to sounding like Diana is Cher. Cher has been around for 50-+ years and only now I have heard a similar voice in Diana. That should give you an idea of how rare Diana's the singing voice is. And at such a young age, she has so many growth options.

Sometimes ago in a dream, some voice sounded to my unconscious ears quite like the one I never experienced before.
Few days before, while checking the Likee app, I happened to have heard a few lyrics of a song in Russian language and was transported to ecstatic state where something sounded like I had heard in dream I mentioned earlier and recalled that my dream singer was not other than Diana Ankudinova whom I heard on the Likee.
A day before, I left on UA-cam my detailed impressions about the young Russian singer who impressed me emotionally with her voice which I described as mother of voices and personified version of my dream singer in the appearance of Diana Ankudinova.
I think Diana Ankudivona is the actualization of my dream singer and as such is beyond description in terms of her energy, voice, as well as the rarest phenomenon of performance.
I from Pakistan's capital Islamabad and right from here, I like to send the young singer, my best wishes for her career's journey to the highest heights. I would finally say that we are proud of Diana Ankudinova whom I consider the ambassador of her great country, the Russian Federation. Diana Ankudinova's voice silences the listeners and I am feeling like being silenced by her enchanting voice. She is another one of these great talents, that gets her second/additional attention via reaction videos. She's amazingly talented and yes..theres is no manipulation of her vocals at all.. she manages to lower her larynx so that's why she can get that really low and deep tone. Many reactor compare her a bit with Cher or Shakira..but shes just light years away.

Diana was abused and abandoned by her natural mother at 4 years old! She was temporarily taken in by relatives and then placed in a Russian orphanage where she was later adopted by one of the orphanage's workers! Diana could not speak and a doctor suggested they enroll Diana in music training.it is here where Diana found her voice,and what a voice she has found! Her adopted mother is a supportive blessing to Diana! She is being mentored by a famous Russian composer!
Diana's music is very emotionally moving! She makes you feel the emotion and her passion for singing and performing with every song she sings! I have never had an artist touch my "spiritual being" like Diana in a language/Russian that I am totally unfamiliar with!

I think I have said this before, but it bears repeating; Diana is a TRUE Contralto and still has an amazing octave range. I honestly believe she could sing almost anything, if not everything; maybe with a little additional training. But then, She may be at university now building on her abilities.

Hello, maybe you have heard of Yma Sumac and her four and a half octave range (by conservative reports). There was no "processing" 70 years ago with Yma and there is none with Diana.
There are tons of non-professional non-TV videos on UA-cam of Diana singing on street corners, in parks, at shopping malls.
