- LOVE IT OR LIST IT IS BACK! Today we are doing a Base Game renovation and we are fixing up the Streamlet Single starter home on the Bargain Bend in Willow Creek! With the Base Game constantly evolving and new free items being added, I thought that this would be a good time to refresh some of the Base Game worlds with a Doctor Ashley twist! OMG so happy you brought this back. I use to watch this every time you uploaded a video. If I lived here I would love it. Also the next budget after a starter should be $35,000
I’m so happy you are bringing this series back! Really excited to watch all of the videos. I don’t think you need to set a super strict budget for the middle level homes- I would just try to keep them between like 35,000 and 45,000, but you can have them all vary a bit.
Also- would love to do these on stream!
$35-$40k is usually my second home budget.

This looks amazing 😍. I would say as a budget for a 2nd home maybe between 35-40k indeed. It also kind of depends on how many sims you want to be able to live there. If it's just 1-2 sims then I'd say 35k while if it's for a family with children for example then I'd say 40k as a budget 😊

Love it! I love seeing people build and or redecorating starter homes! To me it’s the most challenging because you have to get super creative with the budget.
honestly one of my fave lots in the game, both for nostalgia but also because its right at the end of a lil neighboorhood in the middle, theres a community garden nearby, the fairy tree aswell, and the river behind your lot, its just such a vibe to me

Absolutely love this build. I am definitely going to be downloading this lot to my game. For the next starter, hmmm, I think a starter in San Mysuno would be nice, and I agree 35 - 45 is a good number.

I love this series! I used to do this all the time when I first started, but then I just started building my own houses. I LOVE the house. I think the blue walls go better with the home also.

I find it so interesting the differences in how each builder prioritizes their items when playing with a budget. You went for that really nice table, meanwhile I was chanting at the screen like "bigger TV!! bigger TV!!" 😂😂 Anyways, I really liked the finished product, it's so different in an understated way, and I LOVE the sunken living room. Used to live in an older house with a sunken den and it was so cozy 🥰🥰

I think $40,000 is a good budget for the next step home.
Go by the gallery amounts. You can sort lots by amounts like 10-20 thousand, and so on. So maybe base it upon that?

I hated this house, I HATED this house! But OMG have you made it a gem! I can’t wait to download it and use it. I thought you were gonna change the shape because I HATED the shape but you kept her bones and the way you opened up the kitchen and living room just made it so less dreary! OMG!

See, I always turn the hallway bathroom in to an ensuite. Since there’s only 2 Sims in the house, it doesn’t matter if they have to go through their bedroom to get to it.
Then you can put the bed in front of the window.
Uhm Idk if its the real name but there is a starter home in brindelton bay, and I think its called boathouse or something ? Lol but I thought you could maybe renovate that house with like a 25k budget and I would love you To do the renovation with a more clean style with a lot of mat dark colors and a night theme with stars and all. This might be a huge challange but I would love you so much if you do this! :))

Very interesting for you and us. I like when you splurge but, in my gameplay, I try not to cheat so I can only afford your homes in the 3rd generation or something. I'd like to see a starter channel from you. EA's starters are so ugly!! Del Sol would be interesting for starters ala Doctor Ashley with some L.A. flash!
