Hi ! I enjoy your videos with the snowdog a lot. I own one too but without reverse. When you get stuck on a hill or elsewhere I would suggest to tilt the handlebar, go in front of the machine and pull while giving it gas and moving the snowdog side to side. I find it easyer than push the dog with the sled hitting your legs. It works for me. I'm glad you still like your dog even if it's not perfect.
While it's probably simply from not actually being there, it seems to me that for whatever reason, the engine is not producing full power. Just trying to help, might be something to think about.
I have the same model for trapping. Always finding new things out!
