Always loved how Ryan Howard would drop the bat so quick after a home run swing. Just an all around intimidating hitter for pitchers. He’s got my HOF vote.
He makes it look easy! Just smacks the ball with minimal effort and it launches like a missle 450 feet 😂 Howard was an amazing sparkplug, he'll be missed and appreciated by Philly fans forever.
Howard was a 26 year old rookie back in 05-06. Imagine if he started his career 3 years earlier, and if he never tore his Achilles. I think it’s reasonable to say he’d be in the 500 HR club
Man if injuries didn’t catch up to him in his later years and his power didn’t die down, we would talking the greatest Phillies power hitter of all time.
I’m a mets fan but I miss watching this guy. Always was fun to watch even when he was pummeling us lol. From 06-08 him and Delgado had a nice rivalry and always matched up well!
Still my favorite baseball player ever. So happy I can rake with him in the show now. I remember when he was at the end of his prime I was 6-7 playing baseball and emulated everything about his swing, even though I’m right I batted lefty just because i wanted to be Ryan. I’m a switch hitter now but I still use that swing. Just the swagger, the drop of him. He would have runs where he would carry the Phils offense. I still think he was the most important part to that 08 team
What's most incredible about Ryan Howard is he had incredible opposite field power and he hits mad bombs and I mean BOMBS to dead center, right and left center fields on a regular. That's tough!!!💪🏾⚾💥💥
Still hasn't been a phillie with his demeanor. Broke my neck a couple times watching his upper and upper upper deckers. He could take you yard in any stadium in any part of the field.
Howard was the last of this kind of hitter and boy do I miss it. No disrespect to Harper or any current day player, but in a four year stretch, there was no more one feared man at the plate for pitchers other than Ryan Howard. That guy could abuse baseballs to all parts of the field and just made balls disappear. He was the last of the Frank Thomas, Gary Sheffield, and his predecessor Jim Thome.
I was at the game where he hit 3 homers, 50, 51, and 52 I believe. Met him too before the game on the field, stood at first base with him. Something about the Simpsons masks makes me wonder whether this was already predicted 😂
These early ones are when he was hitting absolutely everything...up, down, inside, outside...you could not pitch to this dude Shout out to Howard's Homer's too...forgot all about those guys
When they first brought him up from the minors and I saw him taking pitches on the outside corner and powering them over the left field wall I told my wife this guy is gonna be special. When he was in a groove he was an incredible power hitter who could hit for average as well.
Seems to me like ryan howard literally made high scoring baseball games normal in his era and after he and other great hitters retired now u have boring 2-1 games 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wish he would have adjusted his approach at the plate once the pitchers found a way to nullify his early successful habits. Flamed out too quickly. Stubborn.
That Achilles injury was probably more of the cause. He was already on a decline but without it, he had a chance at 500 homers. But after that injury he only had one season with an OPS+ above 100.
45:37 Back when FOX were knuckleheads. “Oh yeah, let’s let the guy who calls all the Phillies games in Philadelphia call a Phillies game on National Television, I totally expect him to not be biased towards the Phillies at all.” What a bunch of morons.
That swing and bat drop had so much swagger. Miss it so much even in his later years
You just knew it was gonna go outta the park
Swagger and attitude. I dared pitchers to confront Rhino whenever he would do that along with watching to see how far the ball went. Lol.
It'll be 11yrs Harry's been gone right
He should have had more home runs had he not had any injuries
Yes it will me
Watching Ryan Howard smash the living hell out of those baseballs was one of the greatest joys of my childhood
He was Barry Bonds without the roids of my generation....
Harry K + Ryan Howard Homerun is like soft butter on a warm roll out the oven.
Amen.
Thank God someone finally made a video of every single one of Ryan Howard's career home runs. Thank you, Sir. Thank you very much.
Mostly*
Had he not had those injuries he could have had a lot more
Watching Howard hit bombs is incredibly nostalgic. Simpler times back then. The Phillies really brought the city together during those years.
The fact that not all of Ryan’s home runs are readily available gave me the inspiration to create my page for Harper. Keep up the good work man 🤟🏻
One of the coldest follow trough and bat drops. Up there with Bonds and Griffey
That quick bat swing along with his power is a hell of a combo
Always loved how Ryan Howard would drop the bat so quick after a home run swing. Just an all around intimidating hitter for pitchers. He’s got my HOF vote.
There was always a certain crack of the bat that let you know that a ball was gonna go.
Heading HK call home runs is enough to make a grown man cry. That man was the voice of my childhood
7:11 especially this one. when HK calls a homerun “tremendous” 🥹
He makes it look easy! Just smacks the ball with minimal effort and it launches like a missle 450 feet 😂 Howard was an amazing sparkplug, he'll be missed and appreciated by Philly fans forever.
Every single Big Piece homer? That's dedication, and a lot of editing! Incredibly impressed.
Not a Phillies fan but Ryan Howard was really fun to watch and a class act on field
howard's swing always reminds me of griffey jr's swing.
This guy should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame! what he did over span of 8 years is just incredible!
True.
Ryan Howard was always my favorite player to watch as a kid. So much talent.
Most homeruns have a distinct sound...Ryan's homeruns were even more distinct 😂😂😂
Between that powerful swing and HK’s calls, this gave me chills
I tear up when I hear HK. I miss him so much
Probably the best bat to ball contact sound in history. By the sound of it when he hits one you know it.
No roids no arrogance no bad defense just dominance
The way he could go opposite field was a thing of beauty.
God I miss hearing that sound.
Ryan Howard had such a fluid, smooth swing. Not as graceful as Ken Griffey's swing, but close. His follow through is similar to Barry Bonds
This is much appreciated. Ryan had a 5 year stretch that rivaled the all time greats. So glad I found this UA-cam channel

HK’s voice i got goosebumps
I love Ryan Howard he ate them base balls up like it wasn’t nothing
Subscribed just because this edit is awesome. Thank you
My first year watching the Phils was in ‘06 when I was 6. What a first year watching Howard’s mvp season. What I would do to re live that
Thank you for putting this together. You obviously put a lot of care, love, and time into this. Very well done, 🙂
Thank you for blessing us with this
Most these homers are fucking clutch as they're either tyng the game or giving us the lead from behind!
I love that no doubter from Howard
i miss him
I always put Ryan Howard on the Red Sox with David Ortiz
My favorite childhood player
Insane opposite field and straight away power
You’re a great man. Thank you for this.
always loved that swing… so layed back so relaxed and the. BOOM
Now this is CONTENT

Those were the days
So fun to watch him I'm glad I got to experience it
Ryan is still my favorite Philly! I remember the 90s run but I was a kid. When Ryan came up I knew that we could make a run for the pennant!
Still my favorite baseball player ever. So happy I can rake with him in the show now. Now this is the video I've been waiting for
He was unreal
Watching him the ball to the opposite field was a sight to behold
He declined later for many reasons but one of them was him getting pull happy
Ryan Howard had the rudest bat drop I stg and I love it
What's most incredible about Ryan Howard is he had incredible opposite field power and he hits mad bombs and I mean BOMBS to dead center, right and left center fields on a regular. That's tough!!!💪🏾⚾💥💥
Howard hit moonshots to dead center 🤣
I remember every single one of these home runs
You know with that sound it was gone!
Awhhhhouuutttaaa eeeeaaaaarrr 2 run hawmmme run fer howard
One of the prettiest swings you'll ever see
Still hasn't been a phillie with his demeanor. Broke my neck a couple times watching his upper and upper upper deckers. He could take you yard in any stadium in any part of the field.
Love how when he knows it’s gone he stands and watches

As smooth as Griffey jr. Nice to watch.
It’s so funny to see where that centerfielder is playing in that first clip. Needs to back up about 40 feet
He’s literally my Ken JR
Something about hearing Harry Kalas calling a Ryan Howard HR... chills
I really wish you had more of Harry calling his HRs...I'm sure those are harder to find
Joe Girardi as the Marlins manager back in the day. Time flies!
Ryan Howard continues to hit home runs and to destroy baseballs
I was at the game where he hit 3 homers, 50, 51, and 52 I believe. Met him too before the game on the field, stood at first base with him. Something about the Simpsons masks makes me wonder whether this was already predicted 😂
27:35 MOONSHOTS 😂😂😂
These early ones are when he was hitting absolutely everything...up, down, inside, outside...you could not pitch to this dude
Shout out to Howard's Homer's too...forgot all about those guys
A lot of breaking balls too
It’s sucks he was older when he was in the mlb
When they first brought him up from the minors and I saw him taking pitches on the outside corner and powering them over the left field wall I told my wife this guy is gonna be special. When he was in a groove he was an incredible power hitter who could hit for average as well.
The good times in Phillies baseball.
Announcer#1: "Oh my! Did he get enough of it???
Announcer#2 (already packing his things) "umm-hmmph!"
#28 😮 holy moly that ball was smoked
Buddy rakes!
Back when
U know he's good when the video over an hour💀
I miss the Charlie Manuel Phillies team😭
I’m pretty sure some of these still haven’t landed yet.
Havent seen anyone else go third deck at CBP
Howard has a lot of opposite field power
Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber don't have the luxury of Harry the K calling them.
Very few fastballs. An awful lot of terrible hung breaking balls
They should add him to MLB the Show!
So sad that his potential got cut short, just unfortunate timing and a terrible injury.
国際野球連盟を通じてライアンハワード賞を新設なさってほしい。
Most of them are well over 400 feet
If only he had learned how to stay in shape, he would have been an all timer. He should’ve lost 30+lbs .
Ryan Howard Go to the HOF
Pure power... no juice needed
Haha delirious
Do Phillies game tying and go ahead home runs
Thanks
I miss harry
16:25 Jo Biden
Im number 337
Loved Howard but post 2010 he was a bum after that contract he signed
Seems to me like ryan howard literally made high scoring baseball games normal in his era and after he and other great hitters retired now u have boring 2-1 games 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Just don’t post all of his worst strikeouts it will be like a 48 hour long video lol
