They should make the snipes only 2 but deal as much damage as it was 3. This allows for faster snipes especially on buildings. Because I honestly only see her as a building sniper because buildings tend to occupy a lot of tiles compared to units which mostly only covers 1 Lastly, I think per musketeer kill is the best way they could buff her to give her reload on the snipes. So playing her against swarms is actually great now for reloading purposes. Not only this, but spell prio on her now would be high. So maybe she'd be better in spellbaits if they gave her reloading capabilities.

Since they buffed her attack speed to be the same as her regular speed, why not just make her first three shots always deal extra damage, but only get the perk of the infinite range if the enemy card is aligned vertically. It feels very weird to see her shoot a strong bullet only to switch to a regular shot as a fast troop walks head-on towards her.

So I have 3 thoughts: Initially, right now, she's a solid B tier. I think that she's solid and kinda works as a pseudo void, and musketeer is already a solid card. Now, I had 3 ideas for a buff to her: 1: 6.5 Tiles of range. A bit more range to lean into the sniper. 2. Recharges one ammo every kill. 3: Targets the highest HP unit in her line of sight
Feel like the third is a nerf. A card like this would be better off to pick on low hp supports (i.e princess, muskeeter as ironic as it is) or glass cannon win cons

(Ex: Using evo musk to snipe a collector, you can't just cycle skeletons to defend it, you'll have to commit with something healthier like a prince or battle ram)

Range for the marked ability is 8-10 tiles
They may not be perfect but I would rather have supercell come up with the ideas instead of the community in my opinion. The amount of people who suggested (double canon, mega canon and ricochet canon) as a better evo for canon is comical.
Thats the thing people say that the new evo is half baked idea however. Ricochet canon - has mechanics as e-drag and e-spirit minus 1 link that hits ground. (Giant canon) - just adds pierce makes it magic archer the building. And giving it both that and knock back would just make it a bowler building. I'm honestly pk with her just having 4 or 5 long shots. Her being able to reload would make her absolutely devastating against even bigger pushes if out of range but her having 4 or 5 max long shots just evens the playing field sense she'd overall get more value, she'd kill almost whatever on the 4 shot and if she had 1 extra then she'd have 1 bullet left for extra damage. Against whatever. Overall, giving her 4 shots would just make it all better. I think she'd kill or almost kill balloons, she'd be valuable and if she had a reload every 10 secs then you're most likely rarely gonna have that reload be useful do to how the meta is set up and how most players will just force a few troops into her sight so her power shots become useless.
A buff for the Musketeer would be a reload BUT she would stand still while she reloads. She would only reload when bullet count = 0. It’d make her more challenging to remove when played in the back and would increase her value on defense.
I think they both need a buff. Maybe canon can get the second projectile to hit on medium and light weight troops. And musketeer could get a rechargable amo every 3 seconds and increased range from 2 tiles around to 3

The recharging ammo sounds intresting but I think that adds too much complexity to the game. Personally I think as it is currently is pretty powerful since it has the potienal to take out some 3-4 elixir support troops on your side of the arena (basiacly a free single hitting spell with the musketeer spawn)
i like the recharge idea, since it tunes her like the other evos which has permanent buffs, i felt the cannon and musketeer are the first ones that have an instant and only one use of their upgrades

I think a better way is a REWORK. Make her evolved shots do 15-30% of opponents units total heath per shot, like COLLETTE from brawl stars. This way she will have the same interaction against small unit troops, but if opponent plays heavy unit in back, you can potentiality do massive DPS to it with evolved Musk. (Musk shots would do 15-30% of total health currently, not maximum health, so first shot on golem will take 15-30% off, then 15-30% of its total health after its already been shot) What do you think? This will hopefully help against beatdown.
Brawl stars and clash are very different. Clash need to operate in an elixir system where positive elixir trades are king. Deleting a pekka with a 4 elixir card is not a good an idea that would be more broken than the pekka ever was lmao. Unless your in champ and above it’s more of a skill issue if I’m being honest with dealing with the pekka.
This is a cool idea but is too strong imo. For me she should be deployed with three bullets, but able to get to a maximum of five (ill explain). She would aim for the opponent card most to the back of the arena, the damage of the three bullets would be enough to beat arrow-killable cards with 2 or 3 shots. If she kills something with the sniper bullets, she recharges to 5 bullets. Basically, the strategy is to deploy her when the enemy places a arrow-killable or weaker card, so she will get 5 bullets and be able to beat fireball-killable ones. This way, if your opponent makes a push and places for example a giant, knight, e-wiz and firecracker, she would be able to kill the firecracker, the e-wiz, and get 5 hits in the knight. If she doesn't kill a card with the last bullet, she never recovers them. Edit: You could also combo her with a spell to get more value, like with a fireball to finish the troops the spell cound't

Ngl I think you’re just using it wrong. In that second game you knew that he kept playing cannon cart towards king, but you kept playing evo musk in the corner instead so it couldn’t line up. Once you start playing it behind king or right next to the tower (still towards king) it will hit stuff more often.
tell me what u think about this, u said about recharging it, but that becomes less effective as you get to 2x and 3x elixir as they have more troops down, so what about recharging it for elixir, maybe 2 elixir to recharge 3 shots,i think thats pretty fair, then u gotta spend 6 elixir to kill most mini tanks and have a full hp musketeer down (and it can only be recharged 3 times or so otherwise it can just sit at the back in 3x)
Reload is great, but not over time. A reload over a kill shot would work, with a cap at 6 shots (3 base shots, with each shot one-shotting an enemy unit). So she could be very interesting against swarms.
It might be cool to make it so she can hit the tower(but not target it), have her target any unit anywhere(closest first) and have her sniper shot penetrate enemies like magic archer.
A rework that makes the evo musk have rechargeable bullets would be if the evo musk started off with only two bullets and have the bullet recharge every 13-15 seconds as it takes the musk roughly about 15 seconds (uninterrupted) to walk to the bridge if spawned behind the king tower. With a compensation of a tiny damage buff as its missing the third bullet that way it does less damage overall from the beginning from 3 to 2 bullets but if protected and supported it can do a whole lot more dps than before. The recharge should start the moment it shoots the first sniper bullet so it recharges even if she is in her regular shooting mode. Also spells shouldn't affect the recharge timer. Thats my rework idea.
15 secs is too long. Maybe 4 secs. Cause look. If you place a musk in the back, which you rarely get to ever do because of spells, it’ll take 15 secs anyway to cross the bridge and the ability is near useless. Taking the huge risk to put her in the back should be rewarded with an extra bullet every 5 secs. Thats like 1-2 extra bullets max in a real situation. And the bullets dont even do much anyway lmao.
I thought of the same buff, it needs to recharge their bullet and make the reload to 12 seconds or longer since it would be toxic if the reload speed is any shorter than 12 seconds.

I really don't think a recharge would change much. The card is fundamentally weak, where it only has extra damage for three shots if a card is directly in front of it AND really far away. If they want it to compete at all they need to remove the requirement for its target to be directly in front of it.
I feel like the recharge aspect for Musketeer wouldn’t really be worth it unless her musket penetrates the first target and deals half or more damage for a slight marcher effect behind the snipe to be more useful on defense or even past the bridge offense. Thoughts?
her sniper shots shuld kill anything in one shot no matter the health this way she is good but you can still counter it with cycle cards or guards dark prince or royal recruits
In my opinion, there is no such thing as a bad evolution unless the base card was already really bad. There are just relatively balanced evolutions and evolutions that break the game.

Sniper ammo shouldn't hit skeletons, its easily countered with 1 elixer skely's which everyone use. You get one, max 2 per match, which becomes useless by 1 elixer skeletons, after that its only a regular musqteer
I think evo musket should get 5 shots and for 3M if got an evo gets 3 shots (each) so it balances out… 5 shots for 4 elixir (3 cycles) or 9 shots for 9 elixir (2 cycles)

This is a cool idea but is too strong imo. For me she should be deployed with three bullets, but able to get to a maximum of five (ill explain). She would aim for the opponent card most to the back of the arena, the damage of the three bullets would be enough to beat arrow-killable cards with 2 or 3 shots. If she kills something with the sniper bullets, she recharges to 5 bullets.
Basically, the strategy is to deploy her when the enemy places a arrow-killable or weaker card, so she will get 5 bullets and be able to beat fireball-killable ones.
This way, if your opponent makes a push and places for example a giant, knight, e-wiz and firecracker, she would be able to kill the firecracker, the e-wiz, and get 5 hits in the knight.
If she doesn't kill a card with the last bullet, she never recovers them.
Edit: You could also combo her with a spell to get more value, like with a fireball to finish the troops the spell cound't
Wdym it would have the same interactions with smaller units. The way you’re describing it sounds like she couldn’t kill a single skeleton with all 3 of her shots.

Ngl I think you’re just using it wrong. In that second game you knew that he kept playing cannon cart towards king, but you kept playing evo musk in the corner instead so it couldn’t line up. Once you start playing it behind king or right next to the tower (still towards king) it will hit stuff more often.
I feel like a better idea is allowing the musk to reload a certain amount of ammo per kill, making you want to snipe units to get consecutive kills
tell me what u think about this, u said about recharging it, but that becomes less effective as you get to 2x and 3x elixir as they have more troops down, so what about recharging it for elixir, maybe 2 elixir to recharge 3 shots,i think thats pretty fair, then u gotta spend 6 elixir to kill most mini tanks and have a full hp musketeer down (and it can only be recharged 3 times or so otherwise it can just sit at the back in 3x)

Reload is great, but not over time. A reload over a kill shot would work, with a cap at 6 shots (3 base shots, with each shot one-shotting an enemy unit). So she could be very interesting against swarms.

It might be cool to make it so she can hit the tower(but not target it), have her target any unit anywhere(closest first) and have her sniper shot penetrate enemies like magic archer.

A rework that makes the evo musk have rechargeable bullets would be if the evo musk started off with only two bullets and have the bullet recharge every 13-15 seconds as it takes the musk roughly about 15 seconds (uninterrupted) to walk to the bridge if spawned behind the king tower. With a compensation of a tiny damage buff as its missing the third bullet that way it does less damage overall from the beginning from 3 to 2 bullets but if protected and supported it can do a whole lot more dps than before. The recharge should start the moment it shoots the first sniper bullet so it recharges even if she is in her regular shooting mode. Also spells shouldn't affect the recharge timer. Thats my rework idea.
15 secs is too long. Maybe 4 secs. Cause look. If you place a musk in the back, which you rarely get to ever do because of spells, it’ll take 15 secs anyway to cross the bridge and the ability is near useless. Taking the huge risk to put her in the back should be rewarded with an extra bullet every 5 secs. Thats like 1-2 extra bullets max in a real situation. And the bullets dont even do much anyway lmao.
I thought of the same buff, it needs to recharge their bullet and make the reload to 12 seconds or longer since it would be toxic if the reload speed is any shorter than 12 seconds.

If the cannon Evo was turned into double cannon and musketeer turned into a machine gun would have been way better but I'm happy ngl that they are not too much of op like Evo pekka and e drag and many others

what if she charges her shot and when fully charged it does ton of bonus damage with the increase range and the recharge can go up as she travels forward and if she is standing still (attacking) it charges slower
they need to stop balancing evos before they even come out unless they have decent data on win rates in their own testing, maybe they can prep the buff but not apply it before it's even out cause pekka evolution become op after a pre-release buff and evo Edrag kinda sucks after a pre-release nerf
6:48 you can see your Evo musk pretty much screwing you over cause it took down the cannon cart so the hog didn’t go for the tower

Reason, the stats show in royal API that it's doing average stats and percentages% in both win rate and use rate, that's why they are waiting if it will go up cuz after the nerf it dropped and its better to run little prince or skeleton king than goblinstein as now they are close to balanced and the only complaint from people that it can kill swarms and needs a nerf....aaaa how will you nerf a card that was designed to kill swarms and also why they have low damage per minute? I really don't think a recharge would change much. The card is fundamentally weak, where it only has extra damage for three shots if a card is directly in front of it AND really far away. If they want it to compete at all they need to remove the requirement for its target to be directly in front of it.
I feel like the recharge aspect for Musketeer wouldn’t really be worth it unless her musket penetrates the first target and deals half or more damage for a slight marcher effect behind the snipe to be more useful on defense or even past the bridge offense. Thoughts?

her sniper shots shuld kill anything in one shot no matter the health this way she is good but you can still counter it with cycle cards or guards dark prince or royal recruits
In my opinion, there is no such thing as a bad evolution unless the base card was already really bad. There are just relatively balanced evolutions and evolutions that break the game.
Evolutions have to be balanced relative to each other, not other cards, so there can be bad evolutions.
@@ricocarpenter2189exactly this, example one being the ice spirit, example two being evo zap now as well. evos should be balanced based off how good the others are and how the evo in question compared. if it doesn’t, it needs a buff.

This evo is bad, because I would rather use any other evo out there instead of this one, if there are more than two evo cards in the deck
@@femus03 exactly. she’d do with a damage buff or effect buff on her sniper bullets only, but doing above average damage for just the three bullets alone is unfair. i think she should do 25% more damage only on the 3 bullets so that there’s more value to her evo ability and makes her sniping ability actually useful

Sniper ammo shouldn't hit skeletons, its easily countered with 1 elixer skely's which everyone use. You get one, max 2 per match, which becomes useless by 1 elixer skeletons, after that its only a regular musqteer

I think evo musket should get 5 shots and for 3M if got an evo gets 3 shots (each) so it balances out…
5 shots for 4 elixir (3 cycles) or 9 shots for 9 elixir (2 cycles)
