- Ever say "Lets grab the camper and head out for the night" halfway through your work day mid week? That's what I thought! We do too. Ditching the grind and squeezing the last few summer days before the dreadful winterization is always recommended. The only problem with that was the wife had to work kind of late so it was up to me to do the dirty work. Our trailer hitching and transporting routine is a well greased machine when we both are present. Let's see if I can swing it by myself.
I watched all ur videos but i didn't hear what kind of geo pro this is. Also would be helpful to explain how the 4 runner does pulling this trailer and what kind of equipment lile hitch, sway bar u r using. I am trying to decide on a geo pro and also will be pulling with a 4 runner. Thanks.

We are in the process of writing a blog about this as it's the most often asked question. Until then, I will give you my "short" answer. For the majority of our towing needs the 4Runner handles great. We rarely tow maxed out (full tanks and what not) as that would be more weight than I would feel comfortable behind me. Flat "low altitude" roads are fine. We live in Colorado and 95% of the time we tow we are going up and over mountain passes and steep inclines. The 4Runner really struggles in this department. If we are ascending a pass that has several switchbacks and the max speed limit is 35ish, we are fine. The most difficult towing is long stretches of steep inclines. The 4runner just does not have the power. I hope that helps a bit. Thanks again for the comment!

You said you had your power connected but did you check that all the lights work? Too many people don’t.
Camping slows us down which is good for your soul. It encourages family to actually interact with each other and to appreciate the little things more!🤗
