Calafiori reads the game better and has an aura. Pace doesn't matter if you know what your doing and Calafiori does. He was also beaten the least in Serie A last season. He's not the quickest but that isn't important because he will bully his wingers physically and gain a reputation as someone who isn't afraid to slide in. Arteta used center backs at fullbacks since 2021. Tomiyasu first, then White, then Kiwior and now Calafiori. Guardiola copied Arteta. Those two clubs are great at giving young players chances while also developing the talent
