Cow Hoof Pincers Restoration

Hello wellcome to garage .
Today I bring you a video of the Cow Hoof Pincers Restoration , Bought at the flea market .
This tool was rusty and fluffy, I honestly haven't seen it before, but I found it quite interesting.
As usual, I had to break something, it's been happening to me for a while, this time I broke a loose screw .We disassembled, after we decrypted it, we use a wD 40 spray , After that I applied a gel for cleaning the paint, before your favorite moment, namely sandblasting.
Like many objects, they are unfinished from the factory, but I repaired this with the help of the abrasive guard .I decided to polish my jaws for a more aesthetic look ,and the wooden handles, after cleaning the old paint, I used epoxy to fill in the gaps and unevenness.
Finally I replaced the old, rusty nuts and the broken screw , And then I applied bluing steel , not to rust too soon.
I'm sorry I couldn't test it , I don't have a farm in the area .

Because its a very specific tool. Its used to trim Cow and bull hoofs. Cows and Bulls need their hoofs treamed just like Horses. Because if you dont trim them they get longer and deformed like nails. The animal can also develop infections due to high pressure in certain spots and it can end up real bad. They are used along side Battery powered wheel Grinders and very sharp knifes.
