- Gray whale watching in Laguna San Ignacio, Baja California Sur at Kuyima camp.
These are friendly whales in their natural habitat, they are playful and curious. They come from Alaska 3 months every year to a few spots in Baja California to breed in calm waters with no predators.
The Mexico government is protecting these whales and is very strict about how the watching is done. There is a maximum number of boats, and a limited time on every trip.
This is a once in a lifetime experience and you can do it too. Check www.kuyima.com

Why are these people splashing water to whales while they are trying to breathe? It doesn’t seem like these people on the boats don’t even regard to the rules of whale watching... I just don’t understand their mentality.
The babies like it, it's like a massage for them.
