Blair Tindall is a professional oboist who played with the New York Philharmonic, performed solo at Carnegie Hall, and contributed to film soundtracks as diverse as Malcolm X and Twilight.
She did one of the most impressive career pivots in possibly the entire history of modern classical music when she poured her experiences into a juicy memoir that got turned into one of Amazon Prime's first major forays into television and one of its most successful programs (it won a Golden Globe).
She has since taught journalism at Stanford and has also returned to recording music.
The discussion will cover state of classical music today and Blair's journey as a TV show producer.
