Lovely visit to the US! The Grand Canyon is huge! I flew over it twice by commercial jet on my way to California at 35,000 feet. It was spectacular even at that altitude! It's great that you shared your vacation with us! Glad the weather did not mar your stay too badly.

Tony, we enjoy the rain here, with so little of it in years past. I know of this wagon camping, luckily you encountered rain; can you imagine that tent with the outside temperature over 100 degrees, as these units were without adequate A/C. We lived in Las Vegas…had our third daughter there. My husband was stationed at Nellis AFB. Back then 1973/4 it cost .75 to take the tour to the bottom. We’ve been to both rims of the Grand Canyon too! The USA is a treasure❤️

I live in Phoenix Arizona (About a 4-5 hour drive from Las Vegas and a 30ish minute flight) and while I have been to the Grand Canyon a couple times, I have never done the Glamping nor the helicopter tours. Thank you for the great footage of the Hoover Damn and the Grand Canyon as well as your whole experience. Have a great trip home and sending love and condolences for your Dad and Bruce.

I'm glad you had the chance to see both the Hoover Dam as well as the Grand Canyon. Chopper tours are always fun, especially if you have a pilot who wants to have fun! {You would be surprised at what those things will do!}... Great vacation, and I do hope you are able to do it again... The Early American Eastern Mountains are filled with History as well as many fun things to do.
You two are great. As a Texan that visited relatives all my life in Nevada I have seen the Hoover dam with water spilling over. Was super. So happy you are seeing some of my favorite spots. Grand Canyon is breathtaking. Safe travels.

I just found a bench and sat for hours staring at the magnificent colors and the gargantuan size of it all!! I will never forget just how little I felt. I wanted to say that when in America, when you are ready for a beer it is BEER THIRTY!! I got to go down into the dam as a kid. Spooky! And was there in 1983. We spent a lot of time on lake Mead over the years. There are a few great documentaries on the construction. Really interesting. So happy you get to see it. 🚙

I got to go down into the dam as a kid. Spooky! And was there in 1983. We spent a lot of time on lake Mead over the years. There are a few great documentaries on the construction. Really interesting. So happy you get to see it. 🚙

I lived in Texas all my life and have traveled the world but believe it or not I have never been to the Grand Canyon. Looking forward to seeing you back home❤
