I would get feet that are extremely anti slip so that when truck drivers park up for the night they can set this on the hood of their trucks which are aerodynamically mind and heavily sloped. They can run a safety lanyard from the mount to the top lip of their hood by the wipers as a safety and run the 12v cable through the door seal
Easily. We have tested at almost triple digit seeds. I don’t think there is a speed fast enough for it to come off. The front profile is slim and the shape of the dish means it would actually create downforce the faster you go. It’s basically an inverted airplane wing
Just got mine today. Seems high quality, hoping to test it soon. Some initial feedback is if you made the magnets just slightly smaller or moved the 2 magnets that are side by side further in board it would still fit in the Apache 3800 case. I was hoping to use this case because it’s almost perfect dimensions for the mini (and it’s cheap) but it will not work with your mount.
@@0danfinnthanks for the feedback we will look into to that. The white paste is anti-seize. Anytime you have stainless bolts and stainless nuts you need to use anti-seize or you have a very high chance of them galling together
John, don't put the magnets on the wrap. Saw a van this weekend that had the max Trax magnets destroy the wrap.
Thanks for the heads up

Another fine product 👌
ORDERED!
Typically driving freeway speeds getting to and from jeeping locations. Can the magnets hold if speed of travel is 80 mph?

Another Great Product….

Also, what’s the white paste for that was included with the hardware? Some sort of loctite?

I just don't feel the mini factory kickstand is that strong to survive long trips. Especially if a lot of corrugated roads are involved.
Very nice, seen one van builder uses the mini, one it 12 volts and router built in if I recall correctly.
