John, I would be interested in viewing a detailed video on mold making & casting. Both are something I've never done. Another topic could be a video on how you approach chassis building & how you then build your thoughts. Tire molds & casting them could be another topic. I knew was confused by your two show names, but a UA-cam search on one of them gave a lot more videos than just yours.
Bill, thanks so much! Yes, casting "How To" is a go! Tires! Great idea! They are actually very easy to cast! As far as chassis, I usually make a very rough sketch of a 'concept' then start to tinker away at it! That's how the sidewinder for the 356 came about, as a result of refining the Palmer Lola T-70 chassis! I've had to learn that there is no such thing as failure; there is only continued improvement! I'm sorry about the channel versus show names, but I am still so overwhelmed by the support from wonderful folks like you that, despite the confusion, are so supportive! Thanks so much again for watching, commenting and subscribing! Your continued support is so appreciated!
Absolutely, I would love to watch you go through the molding/casting process for the Porsche Speedster. Please add me to the list of guys that will purchase a kit from you, when you are ready to sell.
Leonard, thanks so much! Okay, a casting I will go! You are most certainly at the very top of the list for a body kit! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate it!
I am so impressed that you put drivers in your cars. That Morgan where one can see so much of the figure, WoW. and the fact you do casting. I build static 1:24, 1:25 and other scales and try to include a figure and ground work. In a condo don't have the realestate (basement) like you. Cheers
Gordon, thanks so much for your wonderful compliments! I would love to see some of your builds! You don't need a lot of space to do casting and molding, especially if you are creating and duplicating small parts! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate it!
Hi, greetings from Finland thanks for sharing these videos! I was inspired so much by that Cheetah chassis you made, so I made one for the resin 65' Fury I had laying around. Would like to see that resin casting if you would like to share it.
Hello from Canada! I'm so pleased that I was able to inspire you to create your chassis! Wonderful! It would be great to see the completed car! I would be more than pleased to show the mold making/resin casting process that I do! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate your support!
Mick, thanks so much! Getting things in order to get making molds and casting! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate your support!
Love your videos! As many have said, I would like to see a video on how to make a mold. There are a lot of nice bodies out there not available for slot cars, so it would be nice to make what I'd like. Thank you for sharing your craft!
I'm so pleased that you love the videos! It's confirmed; time to cast-a-way! I agree with you, there are so many bodies that are available as models, or diecasts that are not available as slot cars! Thanks so much for your wonderful compliments and for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate your most welcomed support!
Love what you’re doing and your vibe. You asked for some suggestions so here are a few I’ve learned from being a UA-camr. Make your intro a bit shorter. People read text faster. Also, your head needs to be at the top or at least top 1/3 of the screen each time. Never the middle. People need to see you and your gestures. If you aren’t going to change the name of the channel, at least change the picture to a slot car or cars. Consider putting in a very shot clip before the intro so people know what to expect before they watch to hook them. Otherwise I love what you’re doing!!!
Casey, thanks so much for the wonderful compliments and your thoughtful and most valuable suggestions! I am certainly a big fan of your channel and all that you do with scale and full size racing cars! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch, comment and subscribe! Keep doing the great work you do with Genius Garage!
Would love to see a tutorial on the making of the moulds you use, and the casting processes. Great shows by the way. You may find my spelling of the word "mould" different to the way you guys spell it, but coming from New Zealand, our spelling is more the English than American version.
Mark, thanks so much! Absolutely! Working on the first mold (mould)/casting episode! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate your continued support!
I'm so pleased that you enjoy my videos! The motor that I used for the Ranchero was a FF-050. If you want to see how the car was built, here is the episode to watch: ua-cam.com/video/Ec6gokZfeEE/v-deo.html Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing, I really appreciate it!
When the grill was on the car, that's exactly what it was! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate your continued support!
Charles, my suit was actually given to me by Patrick Carpentier, Greg's teamate! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! I really appreciate your support!
Well, in my working life, one of my clients was the company that promoted the Indy race in Toronto. My client, knowing that I raced, asked Patrick if he had a suit for a fellow 'racer'. Patrick then gave me one of his suits, signed one shoulder and had Alex Tagliani sign the other, with the explicit instruction that I was to wear the suit and if it was seen on that online auction site, he would 'find me'!
Thanks John! With the time required to create molds and cast parts, there will be more to the episodes! Thanks so much for your continued support! I really appreciate it!

@@FastSports-ScaleCarGarage I remember him well, what's the story behind him giving you his race suit?
