    When I'm just doing single packets for ice cream (instead of scoops), I'll put my 1/4 tsp of tara gum into the open packet of Keto Chow (along with 1/2-1 tsp of allulose) and gently mix that in the packet with the measuring spoon before adding to the blender. Tara gum (and most gums) can clump, so dispersing it in the Keto Chow is my insurance against that.
    The allulose serves two purposes: 1) Cold numbs our sensitivity to sweetness, so the allulose adds a bit of sweetness; and 2) allulose can inhibit ice crystal formation, and ice crystals in your ice cream is the enemy of creaminess.

    I am traveling and keto chow is helping me stay on track. I brought a shaker bottle a frother. My hotel room has a microwave and fridge. I bought butter and melt it in microwave. Mix it with some hot water in blender bottle then use frother to mix. Then add remaining water and shake well. Into fridge overnight and it's delicious then next day!

    What I absolutely love about keto chow is that it is adjustable. I tried with butter and all I tasted was butter. Then I tried heavy whipping cream and was too sweet even with the smallest amount. Then just started doing simple almond milk then soy milk, coconut milk and oat milk… I just do 10 oz of milk then rest water. Simple, worked for me. Love Keto Chow.

    Fantastic video. It would be nice to get printed instructions with the first beginner’s package. To keep running back to a video is a pain so I ended up not doing much,with the packages I have. When I have time I’ll go back to this video and type out all my instructions so I can post it on a cupboard door. As you get older your memory doesn’t keep those things in your mind. Thanks

      We do have printed instructions on the packages, with tiny illustrations too. There's also a "how to Chow" card with fat amounts that we send with all orders unless you ask us not to.

      @@KetoChowUA-cam Your instructions on the packets are far from all the options you just demonstrated. Don't get me wrong, I love my shakes (I make them pretty thick) using heavy cream, but I never saw anything on the printed materials that mentioned using a Creami (I've never even heard of that machine before) or making ice cream. I totally agree with starfire8221's comment that it would be fantastic to have everything you just demonstrated provided in step-by-step written instructions. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to add that info to your website or sent with first orders of the product. Taste is fabulous! But I would really love to have written instructions to refer to so I can have a variety of prepared meals that are easy to grab and go!! Thank you!!

    I noticed that you made three in the blender first and then made four for the Creami but you used the same volume of liquid (filled the blender to 64 ounces). Should you use less water per serving when making the ice cream?

    • @KetoChowYoutube
      @KetoChowYoutube  Рік тому

      Because the ninja Creami containers only hold 16oz (2 cups), 4 servings take up the same volume as 3 of the shakes.

    Hello. I am just trying your products for the first time. I am wondering if it's okay to blend up frozen coffee ice cubes or ice in the blender after it's chilled for a while? I notice in this video you use the blender on really low speed. Is there a reason for that, and is it okay to throw some ice cubes or coffee ice cubes in and turn it up on high? Thanks in advance!

    I need to try and talk the lady into approving of us getting a Ninja Creamy... She's not a huge Ice Cream fan... she likes all the stuff that goes into Ice Cream... Perhaps we will find one on a nice deep discount... I got my Ninja Air Fryer that stands up on the counter for 20$ at a yard sale two years ago, it was basically unused (they are still like $179 at Costco) Now it looks like it's seen some things...

    How much water for the heavy cream? I lost my shaker bottle

    • @KetoChowYoutube
      @KetoChowYoutube  Рік тому +2

      On the Keto Chow instructions (info.ketochow.xyz/prepare), it says to add 1.5-2 cups of water. Sometimes that gets interpreted to "mix to 2 cups total." If you do that, it's going to be WAY too thick and unbearably salty. Most people like the taste and thickness when the total mixture is around 20-24 fl oz or a nearly full Blender Bottle. If your Keto Chow is already mixed up and not the way you like it, just add more water!

      #1 don't buy on Amazon unless you want to pay more. #2 the price ends up a little less than $4 a meal, that'll look expensive if you compare it to a protein shake, but that's not what keto chow is. It's better compared to the price of buying a complete meal because that's what it is. 2krazyketos.com/2020/09/23/is-ketochow-expensive/
