This song is so f**king good...just about everything that Kevin Griffin writes if ridiculously awesome. I think anyone who's every lost anyone can really relate to a song (and video) like this.
Back in the day, everybody loved BTE. They were all over the radio, MTV, VH1. Saw them in 2005 in a small venue in Chattanooga on the Before The Robots tour. Great show.
I can't speak highly enough about how their music has impacted my life. This one in particular hits a nerve for sure. Keep being yourselves...on my bucket list to see live. Please release tour dates ASAP
on the subject of the creation of the bands name, I feel like I know the "real story"... because I was there (1984 or so). Ezra Boggs and one of the existing members of BTE were in a band called Trio of One. I worked with Ezra and I took some band pics back in the day at Trees and another club. Ezra was (and still is) very spiritual, but could be a bit unyielding. When the band split the name was a stab back at Ezra. For the record, BTE is one of my top 10 fav bands of all time.
why does this video unceasingly remind me of some nickleback song from a few years back? right down to the whole 'accident/if i could do the day over' nonsense?
Dear BTE: You used to be one of my favorite bands. Your 1st album was awesome. 2nd album rocked. 3rd was just downright cool. I could deal with some of the cheese in the 4th. Paper Empire just sucked. Please stay away from the kiddie emo pop crap. Right now you sound just like 50 other bands. It may sell 1-2 more albums, but you're at your best when rocking the old songs.
Im 61, i was tired of all the old stuff and when BTE came out they opened up my love for music again and nows their songs are old, time flies by.
Legitimate proof that lyrical content has nothing to do with popularity. It's just that damn good.
i love this band
where's the popularity?! they deserve so much more!
Better than Ezra has always been one of my favorites.this songs awesome.
Probably the most influencial and emotionally impactful song I've heard in my life.
With only 75K views, I feel that at least 10% are from me. What a great song from a great band.

My college playlists were BTE and Rocket To the Moon. So relatable until today
Why relatable until today?
Amazing band, I hope they release another album sometime!
Chills....every freaking time!
I'm pretty freaked out
the memory of Ezra Boggs and Trio of One still exists
This is a good song!

I completely agree with you!!
Are you saying that you dont like this well written and performed song? This song is amazing and should have been #1 but Todays music sucks!
