Greg Linhares Playthrough of Blue Foot Groovy by Joe Satriani

Less than 2 years ago, I had never even attempted to play a guitar solo before. So earlier this year, I set an insane goal to learn how to play and record an entire Joe Satriani song, from beginning to end, in one take, without making any big, blundering mistakes. This play though recording is the first time that I was finally able to get through the entire song without screwing up too noticeably. Setting personal development goals, (when combined with dedicated practice, lots of patience, and constant perseverance), does in fact generate measurable and attainable results!
Guitar audio was sent directly into the camera via XLR from the Fractal Audio AXE FX III Processor using a custom designed amp+cab+effects rig simulation (no microphones).

he's playing along the song, you can hear satch's playing . he just playing so close note by note so it's like a doubling effect :)
nice performance, i like the few little add-on licks here and there.
