Where SC justice gets appointed as rajya sabha member, chairman of various committees such as NHRC , CIC or tribunal or office of governor just within months of retirement , it's not uncommon for a judge to take decision in favour of govt or penalise those who dare to speak against government.

Also AAP has provided basic facilities like free water and electricity at lowest charges ( Rs 3 per unit) in their reign. The successive governments in India have failed to resolve the issue and one reason is that many businesses have failed to improve the labor productivity instead they indulge in labor exploitation by making employees work for longer hours. Besides, there is a significant disparity in wages between government and private sector where government workers work far less hours for a higher wages while it is the opposite for private sector employees.

It is necessary to criticize the government for its specific policies if they are detrimental. But at the same time, I believe in this government too. The reason is this government is actually developing infrastructure pending for 70 years. When Deng Xiaoping became Leader of China, India had nearly the same infrastructural level as that of China. But then they whooshed away at light speed while we still retained the same damn old infrastructure for 70 damn years. It is now that finally they are gaining pace. We are finally getting major rail connectivity with the Northeast after years of neglect, many new expressways, smart cities, townships, bridges, tunnels are being built at a very fast pace, at a scale unprecedented in India before. It won't be possible for other parties, because we saw how much infrastructural development took place under Congress's tenure. Yes they initiated many projects, but never completed them even after 12-13 years.

Imagine the Rafale deal being done with Anil Ambani, a serial loan defaulter, instead of Hindustan Aeronautics. And when Prashant Bhushan filed a case with Supreme Court about this, his petition was simply dismissed.
He questioned the integrity of one particular judge, who was seen mingling with the BJP ministers at weddings, "borrowing" the high-end motorbike of BJP ministers etc. (I think the motorbike worth several lacs was just gifted to the judge to enjoy).
The judge was not happy with this criticism and a case was filed against Bhushan. He was asked to apologize, or face a fine. He refused to apologize. And the Supreme Court had to back down and impose a fine of just Rs 1, which he paid.
Later it came out in the French media that Rafale manufacturer Dassault Aviation paid at least 7.5 million euro (Rs. 60 crore) in bribes to a middleman to help secure the sale of 36 Rafale fighter jets to India. So his allegations were not baseless and the Supreme Court was just functioning like Modi's stooge.
Since then, Prashant Bhushan's plot of land has been seized under some pretext by Modi government and attached to government owned property. A property dispute has been created where none existed, so that he will have to fight for years for his own land. He is 66 years old. How long can he fight?
I had met Prashant Bhushan when he came to Pune for a talk. This was ten years ago. I wanted his autograph at the end of the talk. When I gave him a pen, I dropped the cap. I wasn't too bothered but he looked under the seats and found the cap, before giving the pen back to me. He's that humble.
