I thought i'd never see a American driving a old Volvo 240! (I think its a 240) Im a Swede...
There are a lot. I was a Volvo certified mechanic. The 240 is one of the best cars ever made! A 240 is on my list for the next project car.

Because you are using stock road cars... Plus there is rally and hill climb in America.
rally in america feels forced, like there is no soul to it.
That's certainly got more to do with your mindset towards American motorsport/people than it has to do with the actual reality on the ground.
