Quick question my brother has 2012 caprice v8 some lifter failed if he fixes the bad ones and replaces the cam with used good one not new in short no DOD delete just replace the bad parts is the engine saveable? New oil pump new or used good condition lifters good condition cam rest all is good will it work?
@@hafizrehman1992 if you are local to southern California I will give you my old cam it's in good condition. That's a lot of work to do for a used cam and lifters but I don't know your situation.

If you can perform this fix, you definitely have the ability to recharge the AC it is not that difficult.
@@elky82 it's not about difficult it's about added cost.
Did u have to resurface heads
no i just cleaned the heads and did a DIY resurface with some 1200 grit sand paper.

sorry no update video car is now running and i have about 1k miles on it so far with no problems
