saw it with the family yesterday and we all had fun. that opening was hysterical in how it was both over the top while also possibly being a real life eventuality.
Saw this on Friday, a solid 7/10. Fun and great Gore (pun intended)
same. gave it a 7. Had a good time.
I saw all of those crazy trailers… now we need Nicolas Cage as Fu Manchu.😅
Ha! That would never happen!….. notice all the sleaze of the trailer was pretty much gone….
I guarantee Cage is still up for it!
Where can I get this free waffle iron….There can never be too high a price to pay for a free waffle iron. 😂
Got tickets for Tuesday night at the Vista Theater in Hollywood (now owned by Quentin Tarantino). Excited to see this one. I wish movies like this were dominating the cultural landscape rather than superhero movies, since I am tired of the conversation around them. If you were to go back to the 60s or 70s, the conversation around cinema was not about family films. It was about movies for adults like The Godfather and The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby. Maybe it has never been about slasher movies like this but it would be a welcome topic after the constant debate over what are basically films for children.
I loved Thanksgiving so much. Best slasher in years
Hopefully The success of Thanksgiving gives way to Rob Zombies Werewolf Woman of The SS to be green lit.
Now Eli needs to convince everyone else to make their fake trailer movies. I would pay to see Edgar Wright's: Don't and Rob Zombie's: Wolf women of the SS. Cause if I remember the other 2 fake trailers we got as actual movies (machete and Hobo with a shotgun) I hope this does well so maybe we get the rest of these as actual movies. I have not been to the movies since they did that limited screening of Oldboy when it got the 4K blu ray for the films 20th anniversary release last September but besides old classics stuff like this will get people back in.
I still want Rob Zombie’s “Werewolf Women of the SS” to become a feature-length movie, complete with Nicholas Cage as Fu Manchu.
Sounds like that trampoline scene goes into some crazy Art the Clown stuff from the first Terrifier with the chainsaw.
Great, I love Gina Gershon, haven't seen her in ages.
Thanks for the review, I’ll check it out!
Will have to look into that one, always love a nice little gore horror show.
I'm in Thailand and I saw the preview for this. I'll go. I went to a Thai horror movie with subtitles instead of the Marvels.
Let's hope we can finally get that Nazu werewolf movie too
Saw this last night. It was a lot of fun.
Does everybody die in there?
Nah….. tons of characters survive
@@alejandromolinac does the sheriff dies? Who is getting revenge on who?
I thought it was coming out in February
🔥🔥🔥🔥🦃🦃🦃
Funny that "Hobo with a Shotgun" another fake trailer from Gridhouse got made almost right away. RIP Rutger Hauer
Hobo was not part of the Grindhouse movie itself. It was the winner of the fan-trailer-contest that took place around the Grindhouse project. Hereafter the winner had the chance to make a whole movie out of it.
@@Altmetall666 But the trailer was featured in the movie, along with the ones for Machete, and Nic Cage’s Fumanchu.
@@jorgelsal No, it wasn't. Watch the Grindhouse Double feature. There are just Machete, Werewolf Women, Don't and Thanksgiving.
@@Altmetall666 I see, so judge Frank Gore was confused as well, noticed.
So glad you mentioned Tim Dillon is in it! I was hoping they’d let him be himself!
😂😂😂 every time someone says Robert Rodriguez I automatically think of his mighty morphing power rangers in the book of boba fett. Can someone please cancel Robert Rodriguez.
Does this mean that "Don't" by Edgar Wright will come out ...and then the Nazi-Veampire movie with Nicolas Cage (*all were featured on Grindhouse along with Thanksgiving .
Must say I fairly enjoyed it…. Thought the last act was super disjointed…. The lead girl was super “meh”…. Thought the Guns Seller and his Henchman had more “personality”….. they prob are hoping for a sequel as a ton of characters survived…. Guess cause it’s “current year” all the sleaze from the 2007 trailer was gone….
"Thanksgiving" makes "Cocaine Bear" look like "Barbie"
Does he stuff the Turkey?
Is it as good as THANKSKILLING?
Just the question I want to ask!
Most slashers, the victims are forgettable until you re-watch yearly. Last month I watched Black Christmas remake from 2006. A under rated gory remake. Screw Blum house woke 2018 version lol.
Sweet, I'm so want to see a good horror with political and holiday overtones.
This movie is like 15 years too late
