My list would be (in no particular order)... Metal Slug, Street Fighter franchise, Mario Brothers, After Burner (sit-down arcade version), Mortal Kombat, Last of Us, Uncharted Franchise, Virtual Cop/House of Horrors, Ridge Racer
Im surprised Resident Evil didn’t make your list! I’ll have to check out After Burner and Metal Slug because they don’t ring a bell. Ridge Racer is an absolute gem and I was torn leaving that one off haha
@@Joystick_Gamer Ahhh f*@# forgot about RE. Yes, that too! After Burner was only good in an arcade setting where you sat in a cockpit that moved up and down and side to side with your plane. It sucked on the Sega Genesis. Metal Slug was a NeoGeo title so it may have been before your time. But DAMN was it fun!

Halo is my number 1 pick as well. I fell in love with the music, the story, the lore, and then finally, the multiplayer. I still play it till this day.

Gran Turismo 3
Halo will forever hold such a fond place in my heart for the exact reasons you stated! What are you thoughts on the state of Infinite? I feel like they're in a good place now but would love to know what you think from your experience! Oooo Star Wars Rogue Squadron was so fun! There's something so special and exhilarating about being in an X-Wing! Gran Turismo 3 was iconic and I was torn between putting A-Spec or Wipeout on mine 😆

I honestly have no idea where I'd even begin with a list like this. FFXI was my WoW and that game received more hours and time than... anything else in my life. haha
I’m going with Super Mario 64, Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Genesis), Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Halo 3, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Dark Souls, The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War (2018)

All of these games are amazing experiences and great choices! You have me considering my list because I can't believe I forgot about the OG days of Sonic! Jack and Daxter was one of my favorite playstation games and I hope they revive that franchise in some fashion. Witcher 3, RDR2, and GoW are all absolute icons! I do have one confession.. ive never played an Elder Scrolls game 🫣 would you say start with oblivion or skyrim as a first timer?
Hahaha great minds think alike! Gauntlet had no business being so good and I would be open to a remake haha
@@Joystick_GamerI’d say start with Skyrim. It’s the most modern and accessible in the series, and also the best in my opinion. That’s not to say Oblivion isn’t great- it is- but it’s very much showing its age at this point and the systems that Skyrim both added to and removed from Oblivion drastically improve the user experience.

The editing down to 10 part is always so tough! You triggered a flashback to my childhood with Tecmo Bowl; its such a great game! I can't believe I forgot about Half Life 😩 I remember being blown away by the environments when I first fired it up. I'm loving your list and the only game I don't know is Thief, so im going to have to check it out! Its gotta be good if its making the top 10 🙌 I appreciate you checking out the video!
Thief and Deus Ex were the first immersive sims I played. Thief and Thief 2 can first for me. The old original ones are the best. Newer deus ex is better than newer thief. Dishonored is the best modern immersive sim imo.
