Yosemite | A Dog Friendly National Park

- In this video we visit Yosemite and discover that this park is not only great for human's, but it's great for dogs as well. There are bike paths all thru Yosemite Valley which allow dogs. Most of the best locations in Yosemite can be easily seen from the path's allowing accessibility as well as man's best friend to enjoy. We visit the following locations: Tunnel View, Wawona Meadow Loop Trail, Yosemite Falls, Cooks Meadow, Tuolomne Grove of Giant Sequoias, Mirror Lake, and Olmstead Point. We also Camp in North Pines Campground. I hope you enjoy the video.

I am enjoying watching your video of my favorite campground and park (Yosemite Valley)! I try to camp there one week every year in the valley. I have been camping there since around 1972. I couldn't get in the past two years due to overwhelming demand for campsites. This year I got lucky and acquired a 12-night reservation in upper Pines in late summer. It is an ideal place to camp with an Aliner camping trailer.
It is fun seeing your take on the various sights. A lake existed at Mirror Lake in 1972 as well as the ability to drive there by car. Around 1979 I drove my 1967 Mustang thru the tunnel tree in Tuolumne Grove that you hiked to and have a picture of it in the tree. The original road to the park from the north actually went thru that area. Sometime after that they closed that alternate road (which had been changed to a one-way exit road only).
That is so cool (about the mustang and the Sequoia!!). Amazing.. Thanks so much for sharing!!
I live in New Jersey i would love to go to California and Nevada someday.
We got a RAV4 Prime in September of last year. We flew out to Connecticut and drove it home to Las Vegas!! I'm retired.. and my wife is semi retired. So we do have more time on our hands than most folks. Lots of great places on the West coast. Only live once..

Yosemite is awesome! Glad you had such a great time there camping and hiking. I've been twice... had a friend who lived in Fresno and I would drive from Phoenix to his house with my camper and camp in his driveway... then, we'd take day trips to Yosemite. The hiking trails you took with the dogs looked really nice and no wonder you rated them so high. Love those sequoia trees! Wow. You summed up the perfect trip... great reservations, perfect weather, beautiful scenery, wonderful hikes with the dogs, nice times had by all. Cheers! Pete - KI7LIL
