Admittedly, you probably have videos of your trip before this that I have not seen, so I don’t completely know the whole background. But, It seems as though you’re taking your bad experience with Jet Blue out on the hotel. I wonder if your opinion might be different if you had actually booked your vacation there and not been dumped there by an airline? Just wondering.
Regardless the staff was rude, the food was bad and the resort was dirty. Of course the Jet Blue experience didn't help my mood though lol :) Majestic Mirage was MUCH nicer!

Nothings changed we got cancelled in June and taken there we are from uk and was treated the same it’s an awful hotel and staff we went to the dreams onyx the following night wow what a lovely and welcoming hotel tha is we have booked to go next year it was that nice 🐝🏴🇬🇧
Sorry for your ordeal. We also had our Jet blue Flight cancelled at Logan Airport Boston on a beautiful sunny day. No apologies, No information, stuck there the whole day wasting the first day of our vacation. Numerous Gate changes, it was so comical to them. Someone was F'n around. Strategy with gate changes: Stay put enjoy a few cocktails and wait 10 minutes before you go to the gate to board. Instead of following the cattle gate to gate, This resort is Beautiful and we are going to stay there soon!
Wow. That’s crazy. Funny thing our flight was canceled this past Wednesday and we were shipped off to this resort. United airlines was our airline. It was kinda scary as well. Beautiful resort but eerie being there. Glad to be home today.
Hi Jen! I am from Dominican Republic, have been in Punta Cana many times. It looks like you guys were there when the hurricane Hit? That’s no fun. I would say one thing; I wouldn’t do is book with Jet Blue. Any airline that’s not major like (American, Delta, United) will be push back. Imagine with the cancellations and Delays of the Major, it’s a trickle effect. So rule # 1 the airline is VERY important for Latin America. I also think that JetBlue dumped all the customers on this resort and they got upset. All the cost should have been covered by the airline and not expecting the resort to pick up the tab or force the customer to pay, again JetBlue responsibility. Each time we go to Punta Cana we book hotel, transportation and resort through American Airlines and it’s been flawless. Glad you are home, and It looked like you had a good time regardless the Drama. Loved the Hammock clips. As captain Jack Sparrow will say “Welcome to the Caribbean” 😊
Just back from Ocean El Farno. We had privilege but it was a nightmare in paradise as well. Our room had mold and mildew. We asked for a change and went to another building. The sprayed air freshener and put in a dehumidifier. By the time we came back after dinner it took smelled of mold. Had to sleep there. Next day changed to a third room. Still same issue but a tad better. This place is in paradise but it's hit or miss on your experience. Because if you can't breathe safely in your own room it ruins your vacation. They better invest in a solution out their huge invest in this beautiful resort will be in the toilet. Why would they take shortcuts in structure ? Shortcuts that make people sick
Sorry you had to go through all that! How frightening! I wouldn’t even know what to do if put in that situation! My worst end-of-vacation disaster was when I was heading home on a flight from Munich with my parents when I was 13. It started off fine … We ended up having the Vienna Boys Choir on our flight! We ran into a storm mid-flight and had to be diverted to Frankfurt since the plane was running out of fuel. We were put up in a hotel and I ended up getting locked in the bathroom for 3 hours straight!
Oh wow…what an ordeal! 😫 I am so glad you had a good meal at the hibachi place…looked like fun. I’m not saying I will never fly again, but I will probably never use Jet Blue. Home sweet home now. 😊
Had problems with that resort also,rooms where nasty had 3 rooms in one day,mold also 😤 when I had went to talk to a manager they said they can't help me,also my travel agent was not helpful or the travel company.
Leaving you on your own after the first night is inexcusable. Yes, it's good they covered the first night, but everyone should have had flights home the next day. If that wasn't an option, the airline should have covered the second night as well. I'm sorry you had to go through that, and it's terrible you were locked out of the room as well, I would be so mad over that. I felt so sorry for your mom too, no place to relax except the staircase!! And having to wait for water?? Ridiculous. I'm so glad you all got home safely though, and I'm glad things got better later in the day, you all deserved that good meal and some fun time after what happened. Sorry you had to miss those events at home, I would be so upset being away from my kids when I need to be there.
I felt horrible! I was hosting a get together at my house for madison and her friends and then I couldn’t get back for it. Also missed my God daughters graduation. Flights are crazy lately!
All of these flights issues and having small kids is really making me not want to fly anytime soon. I find it very anxiety written and Scary . Vacations aren’t suppose to end with stress
There was no other place to sit. My mom was struggling so we found the nearest place to have her rest. That's not silly at all when its your only option.

It is still one of the worst resorts I’ve been to. Food is terrible! Service is slow or non existent! Rooms are moldy and dirty! Bed sheets and towels are dirty with all the types of stains you can think of!! Beach is average!

Majestic Mirage -highly recommend. Food wasn’t the best but atmosphere and entertainment were 10/10

We stayed there and they were horrible!!!!! The last night because the bartender was mad because I gave him a three dollar tip he spiked my drink!!

I reacted terribly to the mold. It's making guests sick. Ruined my stay and we tried 3 rooms
