I just stumbled across your video because I was moments away from booking this resort, but decided to see if anyone had any reviews on it first - so thank you for such an in depth look! I appreciate the previews of mini excursions too. Quick question, what's the mosquito situation? lol not sure how much bug repellent to bring!
Hi! I liked your video the best I’ve seen so far. I’m planning my vacay and this spot is #1 on my list. I would appreciate any type of feed back before I make my decision. Do they offer transportation? I see you took a bus to the resort. Was the bus part of your reservation? How was the food? Did you find the rooms to be clean? How was the service overall? What would you rate your stay out of 10?
Hey lovely, thank you so much for the in depth review/vlog 🥹🫶🏿. I wanted to ask what room number you stayed in or what building ? Because your room was lovely and quite spacious and I’m staying here next year august and I’d love to request the room if I can x
Thank you for the video and could I know the Main Buffet(EL MERCADO) is a privileged restaurant or not? did you stay in the privileged room or standard ones? thanks again.
yes the coffee bar is included! we booked the excursions in the hotel lobby. for some of the restaurants yes (steakhouse, dolce vita, sakura) we had to get up early to book! 😊
@@JoanneChan7is excursions included in the all inclusive package of the hotel or we have to buy for extra price ? Can you also let me know for how much did you pay for snorkling?
Thank you for showing all of the food. Great video. Overall how would you rate that resort? Would you stay there again? We're looking into going next month, March 2024
@@tanyanest9194 We stayed at the Riu Palace Punta Cana - All Inclusive. We went during springbreak which we never will do again LOL. Our teenage son enjoyed himself with all the college kids. They had a white, pink, in pool party. The buffet had the best food. All the staff was awesome. It was very easy tipping them. They stuck to their schedule when it came to entertainment. It was typical resort entertainment, which was nice if you enjoy the shows. One thing I did like is that they had live music almost every night where you can get up and dance. I like that way better than the parties. You can also walk to the other RIU resorts and enjoy their entertainment and eat at their buffet. If you want to eat at one of the other restaurant at the other Riu Resorts that's connected I think you need reservations. We will definitely try the hotel that's in the video next time.
@@tinaf600 thank you so much for replying! I went to Secrets twice and Royalton Bavaro ones with my sister and mom. This time I am traveling with my 14 yo daughter and looking for something budget friendly and not too crazy. I was told that the best time to travel to DR is right after the New Year.
Great video...as a fellow Ontarian was just wondering who you flew with and your honest impression of the resort? any issues with food, lack of evening entertainment, etc. Looking to take my GF there in March and wanted an honest review as the online ones seem to be all over the place and not sure if competition posing as tourists or not. Thanks in advance.
i flew with westjet! overall we really enjoyed our stay and would visit again. there was plenty of entertainment throughout the day/night. food was great, the only downside is you need to wake up earlier to reserve for the popular restaurants if you are not a privilege member.
@@JoanneChan7 I booked there in privillege and can't wait, another question please. I saw that sto dominga is 3 hrs away from el faro? btw I have young kids do you think you can recommend that tour with kids? thank u again 💖
@@Czarinaobedoza that's great, hope you have fun with your family! yes santo domingo about 3 hours away, there is quite a bit walking so I wouldn't necessarily recommend with young children, though still doable!
@@JoanneChan7 THANK YOU SO MUCH! One more question hahaha the lazy river I heard floater is for rent? is that true? does vip needs to rent it as well? just in case u know i just wanna know if i have to buy one 😩
@@Czarinaobedoza personally I didn't use a floater haha - but I did see other guests having them, I'm not sure if they brought there own/rented. the gift shop sells them too I believe!
