Lucien Danzeisen's Bo Lo Bao for drumpad @ HKU Music Faculty

Created in 2024 as a pre-study to an upcoming new work for marimba and drumpad, Bo Lo Bao (i.e. pineapple bun in Cantonese) is Lucien Danzeisen's take on the 9 tones of Hong Kong's language set to a rhythmic structure determined by prime numbers. Pineapple bun is Sabrina Ma's favourite food when visiting her hometown.
