Great video Joey, love what you are doing. 2 points I would like you to consider. You said it was possible to do meth without harming others by and large. I would urge you to consider the supply chain is extremely violent and results in the suffering and death of millions of humans, therefore not vegan. My other point and not to pass any judgement for this but It looked like you were using warbuton's buns in the video. I obviously couldnt read the label but a lot of warbuton's products contain palm oil and regardless of whether its labelled as "sustainable" (a marketing ploy, like "free range") or not, when you consider the habitat destruction and subsequent suffering and death causeed by the palm industry I dont think it can be called vegan. Some people may feel this is taking thing to the extreme but in reality It's another simple choice just buy palm oil free products, I view it no differently from dairy.
have a look at moringa for those who say they missing vitamins and such from their diet when being vegan....i think promoting soya products is a mistake as my research showed nearly 80% of soya is gmo...my sons could not take the normal formula when born so we used soya and both have stomach problems now an are vegans...peace
@@junglinstinct Not extreme at all. The palm oil industry for the most part is indeed a very cruel one - but so are, say, the banana industry, the avocado industry, the cocoa industry, the cotton industry etc. - and of course as always the big bad the oil industry, which only lead us to countless other "problems". Yes everything is interlinked. And I'm absolutely convinced that a non-compromising vegan must also be an environmentalist and vice versa. There's simply no other way.
Legend !! People say we aren’t making a difference. Just look at all the folks in these videos you’ve inspired. Veganism cannot be stopped, cause violence is wrong. Good people don’t want to support these vile industries 👏🏻👏🏻
@@Fizzyguy201Sonicguy6 and people cannot force animals to get slaughtered but they do either way. So your opinion is not valid. Vegan is the future to stopping animal cruelty and abuse. It’s the only way to stop and shut down the business of slaughter houses and factory farming.

@l_ cardist no, just that they are so conditioned into believing these lies about how 'ahimsa milk' is any better. like they check every dairy product they eat is ahimsa. forcible impregnating a cow and then stealing her babies so you can drink her milk then sending her to a slaughterhouse isn't really peaceful.
@@yugendran9167 seriously? you're going there? lions are CARNIVORES. they need meat. you can tell literally just by looking at them. humans are omnivores. we can survive off of plants. we don't need to kill animals at all, because at the end of the day it's taking someone's life from them against their will, after enslaving and fattening them up of course, and you know, stealing the milk meant for their baby who is now dead. and do lions breed billions of animals a year by forcible impregnation and selective breeding? that's what I thought. the way we farm animals nowadays is the complete opposite of natural, so don't even try defending your actions with those of wild carnivores.
Do any vegans have any tips for not being so angry/aggressive? I'm a relatively new vegan and ever since I went vegan I found myself angry all the time - angry that this cruel industry is everywhere and no one is doing anything about it. I don't wanna be the 'angry vegan' stereotype and I aspire to be like Ed but I'm not even capable of having a debate with a meateater without becoming upset
Try to keep yourself in other person's position. If you haven't watched all that and you've never actually been introduced to the idea of Veganism like it actually is how will you behave? But if they're manipulate, ignorant and not talking facts and ignore science then you do have every right to be angry😂 still don't get personal even when you're angery. Try to point out fallacies as much as possible. Because then you'll be giving constructive criticism to their arguments and debunking them. Try to mention your evidence source everytime so they can't call it untrue. Many people use ever single thing you say when you're angry against you so yea take care of yourself. Don't do it if it's taking too much energy out of you. Trust me.
Im new to veganism and angry too.. I honestly think its part of the process. They were probably just as angry for a few years but it took them time to learn how to speak calmly. We will get there in time!
We have all been there. We should be angry, it's disgusting. People will look back wonder what on earth was the problem with everyone. James Aspey is a calm speaker, check him out.
I think you should maybe reduce the amount of time you spent on Instagram or UA-cam or whatever, because slaughterhouse footage and things like that are going to make you sad. Once you're vegan, there's no point in damaging your mental health by immersing yourself in this graphic animal abuse. watch videos and stories of liberated animals, escaped and rescued farm animals running around. I find that makes me happier :)
I'm a Hindu and a Vegan. If anything my religion made it much easier to be vegan as I had never eaten meat or eggs. Dairy was a small part of my diet. Even though cow slaughter is banned in most states in India, I still don't use dairy.
Interesting about cow slaughter being banned in most states. Do you happen to know how the dairy industry works in India? Just wondering what they do to cows after they can no longer produce milk + the males calves

@@wifi_soldier5076 what the hell is that even supposed to mean? So you're argument is that if you purposely breed someone into existence to basically eat them it's justifiable? If I breed puppies for that is it justifiable? Or even a baby? Just because they're bred for that purpose or are seen as products doesn't actually mean that they're not sentient anymore. That's just a really dumb argument.
In India there's a lot of vegeterians and vegeterian options. I'm unsure about the vegan range as I live in the UK but if you follow "Jain" diet minus the dairy you should be OK
17:07 "Can I give you a hug?" Ah this is exactly what I often feel towards fellow vegans. Teared and smiled me up at the same time watching this. Also what I miss the most these days - Covid days - the results of our mindless animal abuse. Now just simply hugging others can be such a "luxury" - impossible even. So now huge, warm virtual hugs and thank you, Joey. I agree with your view on this. Hope lab meat will be available soon, though personally I still won't eat it. Just for domestic (don't like the idea of "pet", much prefer "companion") and rescued animals besides those who still want "the taste". Stay warm and safe. And thank you again. < 3
I hug anyone that wants a hug. Why do people choose to live in fear? Are you willing to accept this as normal? It's been almost a year now! The coronavirus is listed as the "common cold" in the 1989 American Medical Association Encyclopedia of Medicine. That's all it is, your own immune system. The PCR test used isn't even to detect viruses per the scientist who invented it. Every single "death from covid" had at least one pre-existing condition, they just happened to test "positive." I'm not the only one sick of these muzzles people wear because they're terrified some "virus" is going to jump in their mouth like a damn flea.

Paying for dozens of fish, chickens, lambs and other animals to be tortured and killed simply to feed a house cat, who can live fine on vegan cat food, is literally the definition of speciesism. I don’t understand why so many people in the comments have an ethical blind spot with this topic. Would you be ok with someone killing dogs, to feed to a house cat? No? So you only think it’s ok to Murder other animals to feed to them right? #Speciesism
Exactly. Imagine killing hundreds of dogs just to keep 1 cat alive. It’s no different. We’ve just been socially programmed to care about certain species
The thing is cats are highly unlikely to thrive on a plant based diet; vegan fortified pet food or not. That is the general consensus amongst veterinarians. So until that consensus shifts, it’s an irresponsible narrative to say that cats in general “can live fine on vegan cat food”. If they could definitely be healthy and happy on vegan food, more of us would obviously agree with you.
@@kaminosystem thank you. I’m not happy about it but felines like bobcats, lynxes and their big cousins lions and pumas cannot live plant based. The ph in vegan cat food is also very high. It’s not speciesism, it’s what they are. Some dogs can do well on vegan diets, cats cannot and should not. I’m in cat rescue and have seen what the wrong foods can do to an obligate carnivores body. Adopt a bunny so no worries about cats and some dogs rejecting plant based foods.
@@kaminosystem Having pets is irresponsible if they can’t be vegan. If 10 birds, 10 cows, 10 lambs, and 1 cat were in front of you and you had to slaughter the 30 herbivores to feed the cat or just kill the cat, which one is more ethical?
@@jordanv3323 then don’t get a cat. However if you are already responsible for that individual, you shouldn’t malnourish it. If you can’t deal with that responsibility, put the cat up for adoption. Sometimes it’s not a matter of will but a matter of what is possible. At this time it’s not possible to guarantee a cats wellbeing on plants alone. So we shouldn’t pretend it is so either, although the truth sucks in that particular case.

Thank you Joey! My husband and I had a great first vegan Christmas, we also had a minutes silence for the animals at Christmas, don't care who laughs at me, vegan cos of you and Ed, Joey!😊😊❤️❤️❤️
Joey, what do you do with a cat who refuses to eat vegan food? My roommate tried twice for a a few weeks at a time, following directions to wean, but had to throw away so many cans. He then found out from several other vegans the same thing happened to them or else their cat developed life-threatening problems, like the writer for the abolitionist website Free From Harm Colleen Patrick Goudreau and the woman who made the "Dairy is Scary" video, Erin Janus who stated she's unable to feed her cat vegan food. Even Hench Herbivore said his friend with a cat had the same problem and personally said he'd never rescue another because it was "unnatural." You wouldn't feed a rescued lion in a sanctuary cans of GMO corn and synthetic vitamins and expect him to thrive, would you? Let's concentrate on humans for now, shall we? Until lab meat is perfected without harming any other animals it's the best that vegans who rescue cats can do.
I doubt his problem was lack of tryptophan, and I don't know how he self-diagnosed that, but a handful of pumpkin seeds a day will give you as much tryptophan as you could wish for. Toast em with tamari and grab em as a snack.
Vegan and Hindu, maybe drinking milk made sense when Lord Krishna was on earth thousands of years ago and you didn't have the options that are available today, but in this day and age, it's just the wrong choice. Also in the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says: “If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.” Notice how he doesn't mention anything with dairy
@Sergio True, but also back then, everyone lived on subsistence farming, so people produced food just for the village, so they didn't need to forcibly impregnate cows or steal the calves, they just took the extra milk because they didn't need as much as people consume today, it was a different era, and we don't live like that today, so we also have to change our eating habits, which means going vegan
I appreciated the question about cats the girl asked. I have been vegan for a year and got a cat a few months ago and I'm feeding it basically fish and meat. I feel conflicted but at the same time I want my cat to be healthy.I don't understand what they need like I do for myself so I know I need to do my research. I will definitely look at vegan options now and see what I can do
thoseannoyingvegans feed their cats meat. Because cats need meat. I think in the future there will be a solution like feeding cats natural prey like rats and mice or possibly insects or oysters/mussels etc.
I've been Vegan for about 15 months now. I have two 9 year old cats. Last month I spent £40 on a 10kg bag of Benevo dry cat food (biscuits). I love the fact it is all plant based nutrition and the protein content (28%) is much higher than their wet food (cans of meat) which is only 8% protein, also every added vitamin is massively more in the plant based biscuits compared to the tinned food. The only thing is after I tried them completely on the biscuits they went quite thin as they just weren't that interested in them, I felt so bad that I started buying the tins again. I now give them half tinned and half pb biscuits which seems a good balance at the moment. I wish I could afford to buy them the plant based mock meat in tins but one tin costs more than a whole pack of 6 tins and it needs to be shipped to your door regularly. They actually quite like alot of my Quorn products so I give them bits of that too but again it'd be expensive buying the Quorn slices just for them. I make all my own burgers etc using seitan but they won't touch that either. I feel so bad still buying tinned meat but I also took them on as pets to try and make them as happy and healthy as I can with what money I have. If any vegans on here can give me any ideas on any cheaper alternatives or something I could try making I'd be really grateful. They are half plant based but I'd feel much happier if they were fully pb. Also before anyone asks the plant based biscuits they have contain the recommended amount of taurine a cat needs so they aren't lacking in the only nutrient a cat needs....
Cat food is the shit from the slaughter houses ,it need cooking out at such high temperatures that the taurine gets destroyed, leaving the meat no better than eating it's own shit ,the pet food industry hane the taurine supplemented into the redundant meat slop and then say it's in the meat lol ..only dumb meatards dont understand that due to cognitive dissonance and willful ignorance, it doesn't fit their biased narrative unfortunately, even if I get a reply to this it will be like arguing with a child ..I give up with their bullshit
@@markveganism5003 Yeah it doesn't say how much taurine is in the tinned meat so I was guessing it's a stupid almost non existent amount. I'm gonna keep trying my hardest to lower the meat each day - hopefully I'll eventually get there without them noticing 😊👌🏼

@@tomlauris Well, most vegans advocating vegan cat food do not live with cats and know nothing about feeding them. I wasn’t vegan when I started watching your and Earthling Ed’s videos but I’d given up meat, dairy and eggs. Fish was the last one and it’s really helped my psyche.
I'm sorry but if you as a vegan are responsible for an animal, you need to provide for its needs - whether that need is plant based or not. If you can't deal with that, don't get a carnivorous animal. Such an unnecessary argument to make! Evanna Lynch for example is vegan, but feeds her cat what it requires to be both happy and healthy. Which is meat. She can do both. If a cat is out and about, it won't hesitate to kill for its food. So I don't see why humans should refuse the cat what is within its nature. Cats don't have moral agency like us, we shouldn't control them and expect them to more than we should control pigs or cows - or tigers..
So I guess you’d be ok with killing a dog, to feed to a cat? Or are you just ok with killing fish, chickens, lambs and cows to feed to a cat? You know what speciesism is? I know of plenty of happy, healthy plant based cats. What makes you think a house cat has more moral worth than the fish or chickens who are murdered to feed them?
@@JoeyCarbstrong Why do you think it’s okay to impose upon the cat a diet that isn’t optimal for its health, when you care so much about other animals? I suppose the simple thing for vegans is to pretend all animals and all species can be herbivores.. I am a vegan, (Whether you want to call me that or not based on this opinion alone) however I acknowledge that sadly the world is filled with animals who are required to eat other animals. I may not like it, but you are first and foremost responsible for your family. If a family member will get sick and malnourished if you don’t feed it other animals, you have moral obligation to feed it other animals- or give it away if you can’t deal with that. (most cats will not thrive on a vegan diet either because lab meat isn’t available/the vegan cat food available is suboptimal/the cat won’t eat the vegan cat food for taste or digestion reasons). A cat shouldn’t make the moral decisions in the house, but when we as humans can, we owe it to our family members to take care of them in the best way possible. If you can’t see that sometimes that require us to make decisions that negatively affect other beings, then you live under the impression that utopia is attainable. I usually agree with you- I applaud your activism- however this is definitely a topic in which we part ways.
We will never agree that it’s ok too murder other animals to feed to a house cat. It’s definitely not vegan to do so as the owner has moral responsibility of what the cat is fed. It doesn’t matter if a cat has 100% optimal health on meat, it matters more that you aren’t supporting the suffering and death of 100’s of other animals in order to feed them. If the cat can have a general amount of well being on vegan pet food, without having to torture and kill other innocent animals to feed them, then that’s the better choice. I’d ask you if you have cats, would you kill these other animals you deem ‘lesser than’ and butcher them to feed to your cat? Look them in the eyes and kill them yourself to feed to a cat? Would you kill a cat to feed to a cat because meats is ‘optimal’ (whatever optimal means)? What makes a house cat have more moral value than a fish, chicken or lamb? This is speciesism, plain and simple.
Also I appreciate the support of my work, thank you. But yes we will disagree here, as I don’t think a cat is worth more than the animals that are fed to them. Vegan pet food should always be used as a matter of ethical principal.
But cats are pure carnivorous?? Dogs can be vegans but how can cats can? Isn't that like saying tigers can eat plant based too? But if it's a proven fact that cats can be equally healthy on a plant based diet then obviously no problem. Please tell me where I'm wrong. That's why I always tell people to adopt.

Joey! I love you and the work you do and this is the first time i am going to have to disagree with you about something and it's concerning cats! I am vegan (for the animals). All my life i have taken in, homeless, starving, suffering, flee ridden moggies and turned their lives around. Ancient DNA shows that cats domesticated themselves because where ever humans were, so also would be small rodents and birds. Their digestive systems are not like ours. Humans don't need meat, we can 'choose' to eat or not eat meat but cats can't. Vegan cat food is basically plant protein with added taurine. They hate it/won't eat it. Supermarket cat food is low grade animal protein with added taurine but at least they will eat it. This is clearly, a situation we have here. But starving a nation full of cats to death because they won't go plant based, is not the answer. Neither is eliminating cats off the planet (the Macquarie Island project shows the consequences of that). I agree that companion cats should be neutered (for their own good). Humans should be too IMO. But here in lies the answer: By the time human beings 'worldwide', have adapted to a plant based diet - cultured/lab/cell based meat will also be mainstream and affordable and this is what our future cats will be eating.

When I was first going vegan I was worried I would struggle to sleep well without having some dairy cheese or icecream before bed, just because it was the habit I had formed. I successfully swapped it out and continued to sleep well with having some soy icecream, coconut yogurt or vegan cheese on a nice hot roll as a midnight snack if I am having trouble sleeping. There's no way I could go back to my old diet as just the thought of dairy and what goes into it makes me feel queasy.
Actually I’m putting the onus on those who are caring for the cats. It’s speciesism to think it’s ok to murder 100s of animals to feed to a house cat, but you wouldn’t dare murder one cat to feed to a house cat. I don’t understand why so many vegans have a blind spot here. Cats can do fine on vegan pet food.
@@JoeyCarbstrong Then please never have a cat. Cats are equipped with claws and sharp teeth unlike us humans. This is a predator's purpose. It's not about feeding other animals to beloved pets that we keep, but would you rather these animals aka cats become strays outside and kill off the wild birds that can not sustain themselves? Veganism is not perfect and nothing is but we can try to do better. But forcing a carnivore's body to eat something it was never intended to eat is just a cruel.
He's *losing you by telling the truth? What are you going to do, stop being vegan because he said cats can live perfectly happily on a vegan diet with supplements? Sounds like you're looking for an excuse to continue/go back to eating meat to me.
I think it's good you're standing up for animals, and I'm trying to go vegan myself, but cats can't live on supplements. I'm not sure how we get around that one, as they do need meat to survive, from their history. Also, general question, I guess if everyone went vegan there wouldn't be any cows, chickens, pigs etc apart from in rescues? I'm definitely for your cause but thought these points should be mentioned
I've studied vegan cat food ingredients & they wouldn't even keep a human alive for long. People that sell the stuff don't care if cats die & Joey so much as said so himself too. He said if a can of vitamins keeps cats alive they don't need to thrive. Not right at all.
why not everyone here think about how to synthesize proteins - as quantum computers give us that capability and there are synthesizer machines now - and then create the taurine proteins for cats and serve them that. Do we really need to resort to animals for this? What if we just stop breeding cats? There, problem solved.
Correct - livestock is artificially bred. But if we didn't breed cows, chickens, pigs, etc., wildlife would be able to survive. We wouldn't have a 6th mass extinction, would we? How much is it worth keeping those few animals around that I can count on my fingertips?
@@extropiantranshuman If that is even possible then that would be great. I don't think many people would be keen on not breeding cats anymore, they are a beloved pet 😛 but they deffo need to come from shelters not breeders, just thinking in the future there wouldn't be any cats left
@@extropiantranshuman Not quite sure how to reply to that. I think it would be nice to keep some in the wild, instead of kill them all off. Vegans are promoting animals to not be bred and killed, but by not eating them or consuming them the objective seems to be to wipe them all out anyway. I think they are better off not living if they have to be on farms, but maybe the way forward is better standards and actual free range? I guess the real question is, what do vegans see as a whole if everyone became vegan?

@@Stevelives13 Are u seriously comparing slavery of HUMAN BEINGS to the farming of animals and using them for food? Once again, humans are way above animals, intellectually, morally, etc, if we need to use them for food we can simple as. I find it crazy you just tried compare human slavery to using animals for food. Humans are above animals, and if you want to be vegan thats cool, but don’t police our morals and our choices and call us murderers if we choose to eat meat
Look at the ingredients -- it's just GMO corn and a long list of synthetic vitamins. I'd like to see an herbivore human exist and thrive on that, much less a carnivore cat.
Hey Joey! Are you sure cats can eat synthesized taurine and not have health problems long term? I'm vegan and have done research on vegan diets for cats, but like you said, cats are obligate carnivores, and I really don't want to endanger my cat's life without knowing for sure that it would be okay for her to consume vegan cat food that is supplemented with the essential nutrients she needs in order to stay healthy and alive.
Joey has never fed a cat so he doesn't know. Be very careful. Carnivores need very acidic diets and will develop urinary blockage or stones without it. They must be monitored and urine-tested weekly. Even humans couldn't thrive on corn and synthetic vitamins, which is what most vegan catfood is made of.
VegePet is a great resource for plant based diets for cats. Vegepet has supplements for cats and dogs that you then use in homemade wet food recipes, which they also give information about specific recipes, etc. for your companion animals. Homemade using vegecat is the best option and safest of any I have found in the last 15 years, but there are still factors you have to educate yourself on before feeding cats solely plant based. It’s best to stay away from dry food/kibble for cats at all times as it puts their bodies in a constant state of dehydration and causes diseases that cats should never develop in a natural world. Seeing as cats are obligate carnivores, the closest diet to their natural diet is supplemented meat-based raw food, which is tough to come to terms with as Vegans. Overall most of us Vegans who have feline companion animals are anxiously awaiting the time when cultured/lab grown meat is found to be safe, effective and widely available. Until that time, it’s best to educate yourself as well as you can regarding feline nutrition and take the appropriate steps to ensure you’re doing right by them.
@@SarahliniiYou really should stop advising people to feed cats vegan food when your own cats experienced severe problems, as you said in a earlier comment. You mention dry kibble as bad but cans are extremely toxic as well with aluminum and preservatives. Raw food is not the best option for cats. The best option is dehydrated with water added. Please reconsider your advice that risks the health of cats.
Joey doing a great job 👏 love watching your videos and my family became vegan. Truly amazing facts and educating the truth about the horrible industry. Peace brother 🌱👍
I tried years ago to put my cat on a vegetarian diet and it lasted for 4 days and he wanted meat. Now, I'm vegan and clueless as to what to feed my babies (4 cats), they are on meat products.
Canned food is bad, dry kibble is bad, find a brand that has been "dehydrated" and then add purified water. Cats need high acidic diets that can't be found in a plant-based diet or they will develop stones and urinary blockage. They can't exist for long on synthetic vitamins and GMO corn, which is what most of the vegan catfood is.
a 2010 study by the Universidade Federal de Sao Paolo found that soy, in general, may help ease sleep problems for older, postmenopausal women, Reuters reports. This is due to isoflavones present in soy products.
What they don't tell you is that soy must be NON-GMO to provide any health benefits. Otherwise it's just some weird science experiment done in a lab with pesticides woven into the fibers.
Anyone has any advice for vegans that are too sensitive of being around others that eat meat? It came to a point that I lost all friends and don't get along with family cause of this. Its hard sometimes. Cause food is always there, and it hurts to see them cook or eat these beings that suffered a cruel death just for taste pleasure. It really affects the understanding you have for them too, cause if they are so blind or egoistic about that choice, makes you have second thoughts of who they are and if they deserve you in their life...
I’ve been vegetarian for 2 years and vegan for almost a year now (currently vegan, started off vegetarian). I admit that it’s still difficult for me to be in a house filled with a bunch of meat eaters, but I usually joke around that “oh, you’re eating victim tonight?” or when they mention milk or cheese, I would solicit “oh, calf milk/rape milk?” Usually this elicits a negative reaction, but more often than not, it compels them to think and further dig into the animal industry on what callous practices are really condoned. My advice is that time will ease the situation, but more importantly, if you are severely misanthropic, you just joke around left and right, and it’ll eventually provoke or cause a reaction: within time, I hope things ease for you.
@@cold_porcelain That is a funny way to deal with it and provoke some thinking on their behalf, its true. But im talking about a kind of person that has seen what goes inside the slaughterhouses and STILL chooses to eat animals. Its pure denial and cognitive dissonance and affects the whole relationship overall cause morals dictate who you are as a person and touches many subjects not only animals. Its a complicated subject and maybe the youtube comment section is not the place for it but Thank you for you reply! 🙏
You're not alone! I'm also very sensitive with this and I think it's completely normal. I also do think it's important to question certain relationships. I straight up told a vegetarian friend once that I feel uncomfortable with him consuming dairy...I told him why and xyz which made him think and finally turning towards veganism. The only advice I have for you is to be honest about how their consumption makes you feel like and to cut out ignorant, egoistic and non empathic people. I would not associate with people that feel threatened when their behavior is questioned, hide about the confrontation, get angry or can't argument.
I'm not questioning Joey's ability and integrity as a teacher and a compassion advocate, but maybe suggest a nutritional therapist to the Krishna guy? And come on, that is/was Karl Pilkington wasn't it.......
Hello 👋, Emotional support, please (and support to overcome my lack of confidence in speaking up about animal rights)... Anyhow, I just went for a walk. I’m staying with my parents at the moment. We/they live in a part of Devon, UK, that has a lot of farming. I just got anxious because I thought I heard gunshots (we live in a part of the world where there have been people shooting animals, e.g rabbits, badgers, etc). On the way back, I saw one of the local farmers. I don’t often see them and my anxiety rose. To be fair, he wasn’t doing anything cruel at the time. Thoughts and anxieties about his killing male calves, the shooting of said males on the farms, the shooting of wildlife, the separating of mothers and calves came into my head. There weren’t any dead calves there. I heard a cow bellowing maybe a few times... I so wanted to speak to him against the animal cruelty involved in farming! I so wanted to fight mine, ours and the animals’ cause with him! I just knew that, if I did so, my parents would get angry when I told them, and that he might get angry... I want to overcome my fear of other people’s anger and gain the confidence that Joey Carbstrong and other activists have to speak to people and fight for the animals! Please help. Thank you 😊.
Suppliers will make the shift away from animal agriculture when consumers do, so concentrate on helping them reduce their demand for animal products. You're unlikely to achieve much by attacking individual farmers.

Veganism is leprosy!

If you buy the pet food for the cat, you are responsible for the animal cruelty in that food. A cat shouldn’t make the moral decisions in the house.
Thanks to Taz (hopefully I spelled that right) and yourself! It's been rough, but I'll always do my best to help all animals. 🥰👌🏻

Ahimsa milk, that's a new, infuriating one to me. Learn something new every day -.-

There's no way I could go back to my old diet as just the thought of dairy and what goes into it makes me feel queasy.
Don't put human morals on animals, specifically cats when they are CARNAVORES. I usually agree with Joey but cant agree this time. You're loosing me.
Agree with you 100 %
Actually I’m putting the onus on those who are caring for the cats. It’s speciesism to think it’s ok to murder 100s of animals to feed to a house cat, but you wouldn’t dare murder one cat to feed to a house cat. I don’t understand why so many vegans have a blind spot here. Cats can do fine on vegan pet food.
Would you kill hundreds of dogs to feed your 1 cat? Or give your cat vegan food that’s still healthy?
Sounds like you're looking for an excuse to continue/go back to eating meat to me.
joey's activism is so effective :D
Hate to break it to the lass but quarn scotch egg is no vegan.

Vegan cat food is very hard to find where I am, only available online and ridiculously expensive 🤷

They can't exist for long on synthetic vitamins and GMO corn, which is what most of the vegan catfood is.
you are just the best
a 2010 study by the Universidade Federal de Sao Paolo found that soy, in general, may help ease sleep problems for older, postmenopausal women, Reuters reports.

Hello 👋,
Emotional support, please (and support to overcome my lack of confidence in speaking up about animal rights)...
