    Great job and great final look, congrats. Just a naive question, judging on your outfit I guess this work on the mugo was done in summer. Is this not again the recommendation of not performing strong bends in this season?

    • @Torabonsaischool
      @Torabonsaischool  4 роки тому

      The work was done in the end of the summer, end of August and according to my experience in a totally appropriate time of the year. I am avoiding to do such big bends only during full growth season, thats the end of May and Jun.

    Is it big difference for tree healthy to cut needles or rep off? Speed of tow methods..

    • @Torabonsaischool
      @Torabonsaischool  3 роки тому +1

      If you pluck the needles instead of cutting them, you are more likely to damage the dormant buds.

    • @akimdrev
      @akimdrev 3 роки тому

      So, if bud back is preferable, maybe it's better to cut end of a shoot?

    • @Torabonsaischool
      @Torabonsaischool  3 роки тому

      We are talking about Pine here, right? So, no, it is not better to cut the end of the shoot. With pines is a different story than with broadleaves.

      From Ljubljana, Slovenia. The climate is continental, with cold winters and warm summers.

    How much in USD would you say that is worth? (anyone guess please) 1st, large tree

    • @Torabonsaischool
      @Torabonsaischool  4 роки тому

      Probably it is worth a fortune. But I have no idea and don't care. I do not look at bonsai trough money ... And yes, when collected in nature it was completely free ...
