I actually just put this setup together (Mamiya universal + your graflock adapter + lomograflok), but with the 100mm 3.5 and ended up with infinity focusing at ~20 inches from bottom tripod socket. I'll have to try the 127mm to see if that's more usable
Yes, I have yet to try all of the lenses. I used the 127, because I knew that it was a standard lens for both the Goose and the MUP. What were your shooting results? Did you take any pictures?
@@lofianddiy I only took one quick test shot to confirm focus. I’ll take some test shots soon. Do you have more lenses to try? I’m wondering if it’s possible to get at least a 3/4 body portrait
@@EdATran look at 7:52 and you will see a 3/4 body portrait, 8:49 a 1/2, or typical to close. This is with the 127 lens. I have a 65, 90,100,127, and 150 for the MUP. I have the 75,127, and 150 for the 600se. I hope to explore these more this weekend.
Hi Aaron. I recently bought the 4 5 graflock back from you for my polaroid 110a. Is there any way I can get it to fit to the mamiya super 23? best regards buddy
Hello! I haven't designed a 4x5 graflock back for the super 23, as the setback would be rather large. That would make it only work with close-up and super macro shots. This is due to the fixed lens mount. Thanks!
@@lofianddiy Thanks buddy. I just received your back today. Thank you. Awesome stuff. Just got to figure out how to attach it but it seems pretty straight forward 👌🙌😊
I saw your backs on ebay. I was curious if you have a gallery, tutorial etc. for your rollfilm and 4x5 adapters for the Polaroid 600 SE. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger...
I am a newbie to video, but I will try and put out some videos this weekend. I do have a blog that features some stuff I make and lots of other stuff- www.lofianddiy.com. Thanks so much for your interest!
im wondering if this would theoretically work the same on a polaroid miniportrait 403? I use both the goose and the miniportrait and the backs are exactly the same.. im wanting to use 4x5 film on my miniportrait and wonder if this would encounter focus issues.. i figure if the sheet of 4x5 film is sitting in the same spot as the pack film would have then the focus should be the same right? any help would be much appreciated :)
Actually, i do intend to eventually make one for the 203. Is the 403 the same as the 203 with regards to the viewfinder? The current version that is designed for the MUP and 600se has a cutout for the viewfinder, and the 203's viewfinder is in a different postion. As for the film plane, my design puts the 4x5 back directly in the correct film plane, so you would be able to use your onboard rangefinder(or autofocus feature).
@@lofianddiy ill definitely grab one for the 403/203 if you make them! yep i have the 403 and the 203, theyre essentially the same camera just one has 4 lenses the other has 2
I'm curious, since the 100mm 3.5 collapses for travel storage etc. What if you kept it collapsed while shooting? That would move the plane of focus back toward film plane of the lomograflok back. It may not get you to infinity focus but would get you closer.
Sorry it took me awhile to get back to you! Thank you so much for your interest in my work! What a brilliant idea, using the collapsible mamiya 100 lens! I have not tried it, but I just measured, and there is 10mm worth of focal plane adjustment to work with, cutting in half the 19mm setback of the Lomograflok! I am not sure if you could get to infinity, but this likely puts you in reach of group pictures and some landscape!Great idea!!

Would love the see what the 4x5 coverage is like, do you know where I can find some example shots?
Please email me(in my "about" section) and I will send you an image!
