I still use my Visions set from the late 80's because it's the least toxic cookware I ever found. Use the 1 liter saucepan to boil water for my tea every morning. (Who knows the toxic material in the steel tea kettles)
So, if a skillet has a 4” long scratch on the bottom, it would not pose a concern over possible breakage or explosion?? I ask, because I see a pan with a lid for sale at a local flea market near me that has the deep fryer frying pan, and the reason why I didn’t buy it is because it has that scratch on the very bottom of this pan and that’s what was concerning to me. However, the scratch itself, albeit 4 inches long, it is not deep at all. Would love to get your opinion on that!
It has been heated whatn made at a much hotter temperature than normal glass. It is fantastic to cook with, and to store food in after. Also for stove top of course.

@@eduisabdelvalenciagarcia5476f you can help people watching by telling us how its fake, let us know. I captured all the markings for this reason and pyroceram is a specialist process. Im not saying it cant be faked, but the return on fsking these kinds of things is not very good due to the process and facilities required to finished the product :0) This was purchased in France in their shop too so I highly doubt it is fake, but again, fakes make their way everywhere.
Whenever I see any Vision Cookware in a charity shop I'm compelled to buy it. Over the past 5 years I've acquired a good collection, far more than I actually need

No, Visions cookware isn't Pyrex or borosilicate glass. It's made of Pyroceram glass-ceramic.
Ceramic :( so its not fully toxic free? Dangit
@@saintamerican6105 you may not understand. It’s glass-ceramic. That has nothing to do with traditional ceramics (stoneware).

@@MadisonMan surface scratches are not an issue. Only deep scratches and damage.
