My borehole cost me a lot. My initial payment was Ghs22000 but unfortunately for me, the water had a high concentration of iron. I therefore had to get levels checked by standard board and was advised how to proceed. By the end of everything, I’ve spent Ghs50000(Ghana currency). Still, six months into the usage, the pump broke down and couldn’t be fixed. As the property is rented, I asked tenants to contribute towards water bill and they refused. Their reason is that I never informed them they shall be paying water bills. It’s crazy at present and would advise landlords to look into the type of water in every area before embarking on a borehole.
Borehole cost 22000? Last year it was half the price, so the price has gone up over 100% its not right

That's very disappointing. Mine cost 17000 and the water is being used for the building.
