Appreciate the coverage of Scottish football man. I moved to Canada a couple of years ago, big Hibs fan, season ticket holder for years. Even the little details of the walk to the ground where you were filming right round the corner from my Granny's house is a nice link to home for me. I'm a bit of a Martin Boyle fan, it was a pity he was injured at the world cup, the Aussies did much better than expected,but we do have a lot of good youngsters coming up,and the team peaked at the right time, Martin was a big part of that whole campaign.
I thought that was a shame as well and it might have been Boyle's last opportunity to play at a World Cup as he'll be 33 in the next one, and even if he does get selected, he won't have that lightening pace that he would have had in 2022.

Well that was a relief after last week! Incidentally, when you were talking of record results, Hibs beat Rosenborg 9-1 in Season 1974/75, making it 12-3 on aggregate against them. (Thankfully I was on holiday when they lost 7-0 to Malmo and 9-0 on aggregate against them, but they did once beat that same club 6-0 at Easter Road and 9-2 on aggregate!)

I got tickets through Tony Watt (legend, played for my favorite team in Belgium - K Lierse SK). It was a very nice day and a unique experience!
It would be great for the league and for the game if Scotland could get a strong TV deal. The league could grow in stature and begin to compete for European honors. People outside of Scotland could also see more Scottish football and be drawn into the amazing atmosphere.
Why would anyone want to give them a more valuable TV deal? It's market forces. If it was a product worth investing in, then tv companies would bid to show the games, but they're luck to have ANY deal at all. It's the worlds least competitive league, and last time a company paid over the odds for a deal, they rightly went broke. Until the product improves, which requires a number of changes, namely summer football so it isn't competing against proper leagues, no one is going to invest. Norway gets twice as much TV money as Scotland, partly because geography means it's hard to travel to games, but also because it isn't so predictable and isn't up against other leagues. Scottish football HAS to change or it will continue to go downhill.

First I would personally say Easter Road is one of the best Stadiums in Scotland & definitely outside of Glasgow I would also say Tyncastle Park is an outstanding football stadium aswell both Edinburgh clubs have fantastic home Atmospheres in my view. I honestly dont expect Hibernian to do much in terms of the league & in Europe this season having watched both of there European games so far beating a club from Andorra should be a given for any Scottish club I dont see the result Hibs got last night as anything spectacular if anything If I was a Hibs fan I would be deeply embarrassed buy losing the away leg if I was a Hibs fan that would be intolerable. I expect Lee Johnson to get the sack sooner rather than later I dont think it has worked for Lee or Hibernian particularly well I just dont think it's a good fit for both Lee & Hibs to continue working together. I think when it comes to hiring the next manager Hibs & there board need to have a long hard look at what they actually need in a manger also I think if Hibernian are going to win any silverware at all the club needs a bigger Injection of working capital to obtain a higher standard of player because as things stand Hibernian will achieve nothing of note next season in my personal view.
