I’m very disappointed that the freight is being cut completely from the timetable. Even if they were AI it would still be nice to see freight, but I am glad that the new timetable is 5x bigger than the previous.
It was supposed to be ai only / non playable. But better to have a functional time table than a non working one that will eventually be abandoned by them anyway.
the pre order price is pretty much a sale at 40 dollars for 3 dlcs its not a bad deal. after that it will eventually be 40 for each route with the base game.
Playing on epic and i am not expecting to get anhthing tomorrow as when tsw4 early access came we on epic had too wait a whole two hours untill the game wanted to start but the ecml didnt ahow up so we had to wait one more day
I pre-ordered the standard edition on my Xbox One (technically Xbox One X) and I’m looking forward to seeing what changes, if any, I will actually notice on Northeast Corridor and some older routes. 😅
you will for sure notice a difference on NEC. 5x the amount of services is going to completely transform this route. the fact that current progress from the TSW3 timetable doesn’t carryover says a lot in itself that the services you’ve already played will be much different than how they are on the new timetable.
if you go into the training mode, you can jump on the first 323 and see the suspension on the trucks bouncing around. I hope this is a promise that is kept. It looks really good.
I tried the 323 on the ECML... the suspension has a lot of work to be done to it to be acceptable, but it's a start. I went over some points at Doncaster and nearly got thrown from the cab and that was at 10mph 😅
Well, if they’re cutting AI freight… what about that drivable freight service? The yard Switcher. ME-2 I think. They never once mentioned it, so is that getting cut too? I’m just asking since they only said AI.
Is this update for the Xbox also and I wish it would extend the line between Philadelphia and Trenton that would have been awesome I am from Philly and I would love to see that I am from the US and I love UK routes that's what I play all the time
Tbh train sim world 4 should've just been a major train sim world 3 update. There is no major difference between the games. Also, no passengers and the marker lights aren't on with the Ai, bruv. I feel like they had memory issues because instead of releasing it in tsw3 like they were supposed to, they forced it into release with tsw 4. Therefore, rushing progress AGAIN cause of a set date instead of taking time like promised.
I'm really disappointed with how quickly everyone is willing to forgive dovetail for even having the gaul to force people into paying full price yet again to simply get years old bugs fixed. It's simply not acceptable behaviour and now they've done it 3 times, they know that they can continue with this heinously exploitative business model and everyone will just lap it up. Expect TSW5 in 3 months.
Because most of us see a very good deal for 52€ you get 3 new routes. 5 brand new trains. Plus free roam. All the new lighting settings and updates are just nice to have as well. New routes normally cost 35€ and new trains 16€. It’s a game company that wants to make money, it’s not that weird that DTG brings out a new game every year. COD has been doing that for years and those games are a lot more expensive
@@MrJimheerenI agree tsw 4 is basically a route expansion with some new core feature, and technically it is better value because your get three routes instead of buying one route for 40 usd. But I still think the hate for dgt is still justified because they advertise it as a new game, in reality, they instead should advertise it as a dlc pack.
@@LVBT Sure but the Free Roam feature alone makes the game worth your bucks. It works on all routes and we can finally visit and use all those sidings we always wanted to visit and drive on. Yes the fog and new lighting are not that special. But the 3 new routes are great and the Vectron can be used on all German routes (which are in my opinion the best in the game anyway). I simply don’t get why everyone is so upset that you have to pay for upgrades. It’s not like TSW sells millions of copies, it’s a niece game with only a couple thousand hardcore players (me included). Nothing is free in this world and Matt and the team work very hard to keep the game being better and better
@@MrJimheeren Yet the people who don't care for the Routes are shit out of luck, no more patches from that moment moving forward unless we buy Routes we aren't interested in... Again, idiot's trying to justify this bs paywall practice purely because they aren't seeing what the actual issue is.
@@EmissionGaming if you don’t care about the new routes what are you complaining about. Seriously why are you people so mad that a game company brings out a new game. TSW3 still works fine. And you can always buy 4 in a sale in a couple of months

seeing freight would’ve made the experience feel complete imo but oh well 😔

Well thats at least some good news, NEC would be the only reason id ge tsw4 so ill wait for a sale

Be 363 brake system is busted. Hopefully it'll be fixed
I just played train sim world 4 Nec New York Trenton and is it just me or have the sounds for the trains been updated
Sounds are the same

all freight is gone
Still want to see the Arrow III lmao
it’ll likely come as a paid DLC sometime. i’d love to see it!
I hope DTG fixes the Pantograph bug in TSW4 because its so annoying in TSW3
no word of that being fixed but i hope so!

It's for all platforms. Although philly might be great, you only benefit from amtrak traffic which isn't a lot since dtg don't have a septa license
i want them to come out with NJCL, comets class, and arrow III. let’s go dove tail
