+Based Stamos I actually was having this same feeling before this song had come out, and I googled it and it turns out that if you don't recall many dreams it is likely that you aren't getting much R.E.M. sleep because that's the phase of sleeping where you dream the most. Apparently R.E.M. is also the phase of sleep where your brain is repaired/restored the most.
So we're all right, when we aren't dreaming we are actually a bit weaker.
Fun fact: chronic cannabis users very frequently report not recalling/having any dreams, although if they stop smoking/etc. for a bit there will be a rebound effect where they have more dreams than normal.

I mean they both are off putting to most people at first, even if they listen to similiar genres/types of music, but after a while they can grow on you.
