I love London & i miss department stores there is deff something special about them ,i love the window displays ,often i look up the old vintage department store christmas displays ,they take me aback,this was so fun & interesting to watch hunnie i loved it,magical & very Beautiful as department store displays should be!!!I remember back in the day that was something we did ,just go look at all the beautiful window displays!! Hello Patricia, you’re absolutely right. I prefer Selfridges to Harrods for reasons that are hard to quantify, and I also love Liberties. Everything else, not so much. Even John Loo and Peter Jones don’t thrill me much, useful though they are. Harvey Nicks, of course, has completely fallen off the map for me since Princess Diana’s death. I often saw her there, shopping and lunching all alone. I think she loved her ‘me time’ there.
