I know, it happened such a long time ago. And that she has been somehow mythified since her death and all. But I can't help myself, and think that she went way too soon. It's even now sad. You always saw some sadness in her eyes, she never had it easy. Hope she found peace after all.
Wow. My life started at 36. What else could she have done ? The 200 million dollars her movies grossed is equivalent to about 1.75 billion dollars in 2021.
@@gavinresendes5276 No . After she threatened to blow the lid off all this info. The Kennedys showed up at her house with a doctor who injected her in the heart with something then she died. Queen Elizabeth changed her dress to a shoulderless one when she heard Marilyn was wearing one too. THAT is the effect Monroe had on people - even royalty.
Look up Ben Lyon. He helped her create her Hollywood name. It's a great story. There is footage of him telling about it. He was in a famous movie from 1930 called Hells Angels. Marylin is just amazing.
I would be thrilled to know I’m anywhere near that closely related to her. She deeply cared about people and was very sensitive. She should’ve been a live much longer. She would’ve just turned 69 when I was born 1995 but sadly she died at the young age of 36. She would be 97 turning 98 June 1 2024 if she was alive.
The queen wasn't a movie star so that's a silly comparison. Marilyn liked to go against stuffiness but overall she deported herself in a dignified way. She didn't resort to falling out of her dresses like Jayne Mansfield did for attention.

That's right - your so-called classy queen COPIED Monroe's look. And even to this day, women around the world copy and dress up like Marilyn!
I know she wasn't a natural blonde, but she wasn't just a blonde, she was THE blonde.
She was such a beautiful woman 😔
Agree☹️☹️🥺🥺
Marilyn is still the world's biggest star at 60 years on. R I P August 5th, 2022.
That wave at the end 🤍✨

That sound distortion at the beginning of the video was super eerie 😬😬

Like a supernova, Marilyn shone brightly for a time, then she was gone. Only her legacy remains for newly discovered stars to admire and imitate
the guy said she had tantrums but they never say the bad things people did to her. She was murdered to top it all off.
100% by you know who!
i thought she died because of dr*gs?

i'd love to know where the last bit of footage of her was filmed i.e the famous footage of her where she's at the window...
That was filmed in New York City for the movie, The Seven Year Itch. Its towards the end of the movie. Full color too.

Don’t know what she saw in Joe D.

Marilyn's only fault was dating horrible men.
