I've never owned a new smart phone having been 'old school'. I had one that was well used that is dying on me and before that, it wasn't even a smart phone. I support a phone application for a university and finally gave in to get a new s24 plus. I am blown away by all the features. Mind boggling. Thank you for all the tips and tricks. I've watched dozens of videos but yours is the cleanest, most useful vid I've seen. I'd LOVE a full vid on the AI features. I want to learn everything.

Great tips, I'm personally a fan of Microsoft Swiftkey, I tried the default Samsung keyboard and even spent a few hours customizing it with good lock, but in the end, this one just works better for me
I like your vids, and think you do a great job of explaining and detailing features. However, it's particularly annoying AF, that you can't seem to go five seconds without mentioning an iphone. And incase you haven't picked up on it yet from doing all of your vids, people who use Androids, especially Samsung's, normally believe iphones are overrated, overpriced pieces of crap, and DO NOT want to hear more about iphones. So please save iphone comments for iphone vids. And when you're doing an Android review, talk about Androids. I guarantee you that you'll get more likes. Other than that, good vid. Cheers.
regarding the resolution , you cant know the diff when you compare it directly , but if you use the higher one for one day then switch back you will defiantly feel the difference

I've been on Samsung phones for about 5 years, and have had an S21 Ultra for almost 3 and I had no idea many of these features existed! I'll be switching to an S24 Ultra as soon as my pre-order arrives! Great research and attention to detail!
I just jumped from S20Plus to S24Ultra - Not much difference in the size, but so far I'm just learning the 'new' features, but also applying some of the 'old' features that I didn't know about!!!
Yeah, if you don't look into the features by watching videos like this and especially for people who don't look at all of the settings to see what the phone can do, it's easy to miss all of these cool features. That's why I go through the settings on any new tech or video game. lol It's the best way to be sure you're not missing out on stuff you'd like. Make sure you check out Good Lock, if you're not already familiar with it! I think most people with Galaxy phones don't know about Good Lock which is a shame. Enjoy your S24 Ultra! I'm loving mine!
I started with S21 Ultra, then went to S22 Ultra, because of little hairline cracks in my screen. Now I am learning my new S24 Ultra. Once again, I traded in because of tiny thin hairline cracks in screen....thankfully Samsung is using Gorilla glass again and hopefully this problem is solved.. But honestly I feel like most of the exact same features are on the S22 Ultra that I traded in, because Samsung pushes software updates to any Ultra, after the S21 Ultra I believe... I like to keep my cell phones for a few yrs. Hopefully this S24 Ultra can survive 3 or so yrs without any hairline cracks in the screen... Because Samsung will be applying 5 yrs of updates there is no reason to upgrade. With the 5 yrs of updates, we will always have the newest version of android on our phones with the same features as the new phones. There might be different asthetetics with each new model, but who cares. There aren't that many changes from yr to yr for people to upgrade, unless they have cracked scenes, cracked camara lenses or inoperable phones... That being said with this being my 3rd Ultra, in the past 4 yrs, I will definitely always stay with the Ultras.. until they decide to rename there next flagship phone, anyway. I love the Samsung Ultras, and at this point it's like riding a bike. With each new generation it's gotten very easy for everything to come back to me when transferring data from old phone to new phone and customizing my phone to be the same as the previous one... Hope u will love your new S24 Ultra

Great video but too long, it's hard to keep up with what your showing because you follow the new trend of cutting out any pauses in the video, so it becomes one non-stop 39 minutes of continuous talking, this is a trend of recent You tubers I don''t particularly like, humans don't communicate without pauses between each sentence, the video becomes overbearing at about half way, please for future videos make part 1, 2, 3, 4, and PLEASE leave pauses in.
the phone is literally not worth upgrading even from Ultra 22. You look at this titanium? It has 3 dollars worth of it. Apple poop has even more and better ones. For the price they are selling it, it's absolutely worthless.

I'd avoid any MagSafe products until Samsung can make their own MagSafe tech or they announce that their devices are MagSafe compatible. Cause it can mess with the magnetics of the S Pen
The ridiculous thing is that the samsung find website won't work properly on other brands of phones or on a laptop. When my phone was lost I couldn't locate another samsung phone to track it.
I made a Samsung account but I don't know how to get back into it because the phone I made the Samsung account in. Is broken and not working and now I don't know how to get my Samsung account back. Because I don't remember the password. And I don't remember the number that the phone had.
Samsungers = we have so many features that it took long 39 minutes to show its feature list. Iphoners= but our camera is still better , and cant you see apple is constantly thinning its phones starting from i 12 to i 16
Also if you're going to make a massive video of features, with say 50 chapters, could you list the features in the description with time stamps, because the chapters are so small on the timeline it's extremely hard to get to the start of a chapter to maybe watch it two times to actually grasp what you are demonstrating.
I'e not seen a good answer on this, but what part of the magsafe thing is magnetic, the ring? Or the thing you attach it to? I often have my phone and credit/atm card in the same pocket and don't want them getting wiped out if that ring is strongly magnetic.

I just bought a S24 and when I pull down (3:05 on your vid), there is no "Mic Mode" listed. Later in your vid, when you pull down, the Mic Mode option is not listed. So, how do I gain access to Mic Mode? Thanks.
i had the same issue. Get some one to call you. During the call swipe down from the top twice as shown in the video. Only then i got the Mic mode option.

So far, I'm only about half way through, this is all samsung devices settings, only thing my note20 doesn't do is the AI spell checker,, that's also the only thing I'd be interested in if it works better than the normal spell checker.

When I restored wifi passwords on s24 ultra from my s22u after rebooting the phone, I could no longer see the 5G band of my modem. The only solution was either using "reset wifi and Bluetooth settings" option on settings menu or doing factory reset. Hope they fix this bug

The main problem of the S24 Ultra is the auto brightness. Auto brightness is lower in all lighting conditions. People don't understand and interpret it as a dull display

I don't trust the app protection. McAfee is trash bloatware. When I read the EULA WITH McAfee I said no thanks and cancelled it.

another SPen Feature is instead of hitting save from the black note screen just put the pen back into the phone and it will also save
Don't change the animations off in the developer options. Quite a few apps will simply stop working, especially banking apps.
I have turned all animations off on my previous and current Samsung's and never had any apps complain or stop working.

Thanks for the feedback! Which part of the video am I taking fast in? I just watched a bunch back and felt like it was too slow haha 🙂 (I'm from New England). Seriously though, knowing which parts are too fast can help me slow down more in future videos 🙂
When I restored wifi passwords on s24 ultra from my s22u after rebooting the phone, I could no longer see the 5G band of my modem. The only solution was either using "reset wifi and Bluetooth settings" option on settings menu or doing factory reset. Hope they fix this bug

The main problem of the S24 Ultra is the auto brightness. Auto brightness is lower in all lighting conditions. People don't understand and interpret it as a dull display
Great video for new S24 plus users that are fairly tech dumb like myself! A question....I see you are "swiping" when using the keyboard. Is there a setting for that? Can't find it if there is. I would also LOVE to see a more in depth tutorial on using the camera features as that's the primary reason why I purchased the S24 plus. Thanks for your help from this old gal.
