I think the agent is the worst of the three in Bo's opinion. They stand for so much he criticizes in his content like exploiting kids for money, pandering, putting out content whether it's good or not. The biggest sign this agent has no clue what Bo is about is when he says "none of this introspection or challenges to the form". That's like, what Bo is all about. You said it yourself, Bo has changed what you understood a comedian to be - he challenges the forms of comedy, performance, music, and with Inside he challenges film and the idea of a 'comedy' special.
Bo is a brilliant mind. As an actor/musician, I'm personally glad I don't have the brilliant mind he has. I couldn't handle it. Please watch "Inside" if you haven't already. I've known people like him when I was in theatre school. I always envied them. After a few years, I don't envy them anymore. I simply love them. And they don't even know I think about them.
I am always so happy to see people discover his art for the very first time. If I could go back and watch everything of his for the first time I would. He’s amazing to no end.
Before the instruments I was feeling his panic attack then he started drowning it with music and that's one of the real ways of depression and anxiety then you blast the music to drown the attacks till everything is fine then you move on

This might actually be the first time he switched it up and started getting introspective. Most of his earlier stuff was basically pure comedy and word play. So basically the "Agent" wanted him to go back to doing just comedy.

One thing a lot of people missed in reaction is that at the end of the song Bo points at the audience and it says “Mr Burnham” which basically says that we’re also one of them we don’t know him either all we see is his stage persona and we know him just as much as any of the other types of people he pointed out

He's even hilarious on the fly.
