Hopefully, one-day Guyanaese will begin to appreciate the idea of fish management. With all the canals, rivers, trenches, etc. in Guyana, all that fish could have been caught within an hour if people would only throw back the fine ones. When I was a kid, in Mahaicony, we could catch all that fish with a few throws. By the time I was an adult, it was many many throws to fill a bucket. The same dang thing with iguana, turtle, deer, labba, etc.
Greed is a terrible thing that also causes other fish and shrimp species to disappear forever ,Very sad. They selling baby Hassa also in the marketplace these days ,i see it at Mon Repos market ECD.
Fishing trip paid off big time and big up to those fishermen👍👍👍Nice hassa, houri, sunfish etc.even a baby alligator🐊 lol!!! Happy 10th birthday to little Priscilla🎉. Thanks again for sharing another great adventure!!!

I couldn’t help but to comment about that beautiful sunrise you mentioned because for the Muslims that’s the time we also wake up to pray Fajir prayer before the sun rises and in the evening just as sunset coming we prayer again. I think generally speaking most people know that Muslims prayer 5 times a day but thanks as always for posting yours and your beautiful family for us to get to know and the intro to your wife’s videos are so touching I feel the sincerity. A Londoner I went to to live with my Granny, my aunts, uncles and cousin in 1972 for 5 yrs. I loved hassa curry which Granny cooked. I havnt eaten it since 1977. She was a brilliant cook. I like your videos. Keep up the good work! 👍🏿👍🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Good Afternoon, I Must say That sunrise with that Moon and those lovely Blue sky with an Empty Open Field was Very Beautiful Scenery ,Eat up your Catch of the day I hear many say Sweet water fish sweet From young Not eating any fresh water fish or Shrimp But from looking at some of My Cuz and Family They sure does Enjoy them Ground Provision with those Kind of Fresh water Fish Have a Pleasant and Safe Blessed week to you and Family.

Ya we go fishing about 5 of us at # 43 village, And I will come back on time 07AM and get ready to go to school. Depends on how much fishes we catches, sometimes my Mother will talk the fishes and sells it at the port mourant Market.
