@@tracybrown448 It's not even just this generation. My dad, who's not really into period dramas, watched season 1 and part of season 2 with my stepmom but dropped the show because there weren't enough sex scenes in season 2. My dad is 61.
I didn’t find season 2 boring but I did struggle with it a bit because I hate that they screwed over Edwina.
I was glad that it was just a whole bunch of sex scenes in season 2 though. Worried about what they will do with season 3.

The way I watched season 2 like 5 times now just because Kate and Anthonys slow burn is so chefs kiss! Season 1 did not do it for me like season 2 did. But also the whole Bridgerton family knew what was going on between them so I don't think they would have any problem though. They knew their son is a gentleman and will ask kate to marry her after that night. I kind of feel bad for anthony in the morning though ....he was looking so cute waking up with that smile on his face only to realise she left him there.
Knowing all of his siblings character, no one of them would have ever mentioned seeing them had it happened.

It would have been really dumb though. Kate is from India which has some of the heaviest rainfall in the world. Kate being catatonic because of thunderstorms while coming from a place that has full on monsoons all the time would just be impossible for her as a character. Really think about that. They would need to change her fear if they give her one but I think making her desire to put family first at a detriment to herself because she doesn’t feel worthy is an adequate amount of vulnerability to her story while also bonding her with Anthony.
I think the movie is well presented. I'm scare of thunder too. Literally I will jump and scream when it comes no matter how often it happen. But not up to panic attack

Anthony was bathed in monsoons of duties, expectations, risks, terms, and information he had no reason to know at his age - in addition to the trauma of living around bees.
