I’m actually now thinking of contacting this lady and building this model. Great video. FYI this house is easily 1.7-2.1 million in NY. Especially in Long Island.
Design trends come and go throughout the years. Carpet in a bedroom is not "weird"! It is a flooring choice plain and simple. Carpet in the bedroom provides warmth to your feet when you get out of bed. If you do have hardwood, it is always stylish and provides warmth to use an appropriately sized area rug in your bedroom.
This is real nice. I didn’t like the crazy design wallpaper, but the home is beautiful. I wish we could have seen more outside view of the house and backyard tour.
Ok, I’m back from San Diego 😁. Seriously, I’m going to consider adding NC to my next place to live. This home is gorgeous!!!! This house would sell for over 1 million easily in San Diego....wow! 💞
Trust me when I say it evens out. I live in Charlotte. Most people can’t afford a 500k home. The average household income is 55k in NC. That being said most people with that income can only afford something between 180k-300k; depending on DTI, down payment, and credit score. I make more than the average household (80k) and I was only pre-approved for 350k.
Same for out here in San Diego! I’ll be leaving this beautiful (overly expensive) state in a few years when my daughter is off to college. I can’t wait to make my money go further!!

They charge at least $1,700-2K just a studio &. That’s no space at all. In NY you don’t have a nice spacious back yard , you get a small box and your neighbor right next to you literally . Unless you go all the way out in the country and build your house there .

Its absolute hell.

Gorgeous house I dont care for open upstairs hallway. If not dressed , or need privacy visitors downstairs can see or hear what's going on. Closets need better organizational options, and shelves. No yard? Pantry perhaps consider frosted door. Upstairs bedroom door knocks up against bathroom door.... switch it around.Office always downstairs in case clients visit.
I live in awful Silicon Valley, CA. Mode $500k won't buy anything here, it's barely a down payment for a house here. I make $200k/yr here and I can't afford anything... Just another reason convincing me I need move out of this hell hole. Don't worry, I won't bring any CA politics with me.
@@cb.1212 I have been a conservative for most of my life and I'm very aware of how liberal politics played a large part in the downfall of CA and now the US. I can't say everyone from CA thinks the same though. The media does make it look like CA is only liberal though, but if you go the more southern areas like Orange County the majority there is conservative... In fact there actually more conservatives in just those areas of CA than there are in some states altogether. I get why most people hate us, but all of us definitely don't want to California up other states we just happened to get stuck here and we just want leave and be in better place.
Great looking home didn't like that jointed boy and girl room. I always felt like little girls should have there own bathrooms. Just my opinion. But giving me ideas since we are planning to move to Charlotte.
