Yes, I agree! Add Geezer Butler to the list and here they are, my 3 favorite bass players, or as I often say: my "Holy Trinity of Bass"! 😄 My main influences since when I started with bass in 86. Still they are today. Greetings from Italy!
I came late to the party with this song and I can't get over how just plain *cheeky* it is! Listen to Deep Purple, Zep, Foghat, most any hard rock band and tell me if they were even on the same page as Rush at this point in time.
@@bigolemonkey2898 Geddy was actually using it all the way back when John was in the band! Check out that film of them playing Working Man at the secondary school in 1974. Geddy does the fast strumming thing about three and a half minutes in.
Forever the absolute all-time greatest bass player ever to walk the earth, bar none. 🤘🏻♥️
Always remember,he hits the strings and steps on pedals and sings. One of my favorite and Steve Harris.

Nope, these guys were at the top of the rock heap in this era.
Thank you. SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!
This has always been one of my fav songs from them. Hearing the bass by itself makes me appreciate it even more. The bass is so freaking complex!
This folks, this a 24 year old "kid".
Like woww.
F*****g superb!!
do you think we can expect anymore isolated bass from rush?
Yes, I will upload more from Rush In Rio next week.

The best answer I can come up with is they are getting all of these isolated recordings from the Rockstar video game master files.
No. I took this from the 5.1 mix. One of the tracks had the bass isolated.
It truly is.
Are the other parts available?
No, only the bass was isolated.
Watchmaker thanks for responding. Is that how it was recorded or only what became available?
That's how it was mixed in 5.1
