Hey Phil. I enjoyed your tutorial on the In the Hoop ornament. I have Premiere + lay2 Extra. Is there a way to create an applique with it? I have the embroidery already done so just need to know how to create the tack down stitch, add the embroidery then the satin stitch to hold it down and then the stiith to add the backing, Could you do a video on it or just send me directions? Thank you so much for what you do. Your tutorials are very informative.

Check out the video about the border tab. You can create borders in different colors. Do a running stitch for the placement, do 2 runnings stitches in a different color for the tack down (closes you can get to a double stitch with the border tab. Stitch your designs. Then do a running stitch to tack down the back fabric in another color. Then finish with a satin border.
There are also some applique frames that have the placement, tackdown and satin, so you could use that and just back up the number of stitches needed to to the back fabric placement.
